This is a pretty powerful song. The vocals are on point. Britney might not hit the highest notes, but she knows how to portray the emotions of the song perfectly. It's pretty darn catchy, and just as haunting as "Everytime."

In The Zone This is a good ballad and I wanted it released over "everytime." If "everytime" got to #3 at pop this could have gone #1. Matrix did a great job with it.

do post. "Everytime" was tolerable to me, since it was live(able) if that makes any sense.

Good song. Back when I first got "In The Zone", this was one of my favorite tracks. However, now it sounds dated. Meh...
I disagree about this doing better than "Everytime". "Everytime" is by far the better track, IMO.

Not good. It deosn't compare to Ashlee's "Shadow".
Maybe one of the worst songs the Matrix has produced.

I also think it was much better than 'Everytime'. They could have done a really haunting/artistic music video for it too.

I never really got why some people like this song. I mean, it's ok. Definately one of the weaker songs on ITZ.

One of the few songs from ITZ that I like besides the singles. It's pretty good, but not great.

That falsetto note she hits at the end is awesome. It is not high like a Mariah Carey shriek, but it wraps the song up nicely.

I always liked Shadow. Everytime was better though.

This is definetely one of the highlights on "In The Zone". The production and her vocals mesh really well and this definetely could've been released as a single at the time. It's my second favourite album track on "In The Zone" (behind Breathe On Me).
