Jojo still has a huge lead at the top, she'll likely be #1 for awhile. Nothing is really gaining fast enough to reveal what her likely proceeder will be. It's really a hard one to predict at this point, what does eveyone think?
Last week, there was talk of Christina Milian being a darkhorse candidate. Now, her bullet is lower than Jojo's and she's still about 2500 spins away. I think its safe to rule her out.
Kevin Lyttle leads a slew of bulleted songs at the bottom of the Top 10 including Ashlee Simpson and Usher, but none are gaining fast enough really. Ashlee has the largest bullet, but this was a huge press week for her so odds are the bullet could cool down a little soon (and I sure hope so for that matter). I think the fact that Usher still has 2 songs in the Top 11 will force "Confessions" into a brick wall soon, even though it's my favorite of his 3 singles.
Maroon 5's "She Will Be Loved" has lot of hype, and I think it may get to #1 eventually. However, right now the bullet is strong but not exactly rapid enough to make it fly into the Top 5 within the next few weeks. But with not a lot of songs in between, could it be the next #1 even if it's weeks away soon?
Nelly's "My Place" is off to a great start, but that's usually the case for lead singles for big artists. But if it can hold on to his huge bullet (which I hope not), then maybe he'll be a contender for #1 sooner rather than later.
I really can't even guess at this point, as Jojo has such a strong lead and there doesn't seem to be much to get in her way.

This is an odd point in the charts because no songs seem to be really THREATENING to steal #1. Ashlee looks the most likely however.

The thing is, right now all the bullets are down from where they were a couple of days ago, so those are hard to judge.
I wouldn't rule Christina Milian out just yet. This isn't the first time her bullet has died down, and it's surged again, especially over the past few weeks. She's not guaranteed, but she's my guess for right now.
I couldn't really see any of these songs at the top, but I guess it'll have to be at least one of them. Maroon 5 and Nelly will both be candidates for the top spot, but I'd give them at least another month. Who knows, maybe JoJo will last long enough that one of them will knock her out? But something in me says that's not going to happen.

I think her bullet has always been consistently lower than JoJo's. I haven't heard Nelly's song - if it's good, then it may be the next #1. If not, then I'll say Ashlee Simpson. It's the comeback year for pop (despite how some people in 2002 thought it could never happen ) so I don't think Kevin Lyttle can make it anymore.

AShlee, though I hate it.
I'd rather see Dip It Low, but I just don't think it's going to quite make it.
She Will Be Loved isn't moving quite fast enough to be the next #1, though with the way the chart is looking right now I would not at all be surprised to see it make #1. There's not a ton of good songs rising right now.

Nelly is the one most likely to take #1. A 1260+ bullet, Top 40 (with a large possibility of already going Top 30) in just two weeks and a 15000+ audience... man, the writing's obviously on the wall, as much as I don't rate "My Place" very much. This will be a monster hit, and there's no escaping that.

It looks like Ashlee will take the #1 spot. "Dip It Low" might have a peak of #2.

I voted for Ashlee Simpson since she seems like the most likely candidate, especially with all the hype around her right now.
The only other song on that list I feel has the power to make to #1 is Nelly. I think the rest of those songs will fall short of the #1 spot.

I wouldn't count out Christina Milian. Although this song has lost momentum, it's happened many times the past weeks, yet she always seems to rebound quite well. I think this will go all the way to number 1 by the end of August. I don't think Ashlee Simpson's gonna get close to number 1. With heavy promotion for her album this week, I think this song's gonna lose alot of steam next week. Will be interesting to wait and see.

Given Christina Milian's slowdown, I believe Ashlee has herself the next #1 hit. Sincerely, Noah Eaton

In this very moment, no artist is bigger than Ashlee Simpson. She owns the next month, and "Pieces of Me" will soar to the top.
