With huge exposure in the Gap commericals (f. the sexy Sarah Jessica Parker), anyone think this'll make a dent on CHR/Pop? It grew on me after hearing it so many times on TV, but when I heard the song in its entirety I felt it was kinda repetitive. www2.allaccess.com/sounds/lenklady.ram

Going for adds October 11.
I was not happy with his first single flopping, but I don't like this one at all and really don't want to have to hear it on the radio.

I like this but it sucks when compared to "Where Are We Runnin?" and even "California."

Well, this made the top 50 and I'm just as puzzled as you guys are. It's not a bad song, but it doesn't fit very much at all on pop playlists.

I'm not puzzled at all. The familiarity that people will have with this from the commercials makes this a sure pop add for programmers.

I think that there have been 4 singles released so far: "Where Are We Running", "Lady", "California" and "Storm". I'm not sure about the order (though I think some may have overlapped at the different formats). I've liked them all, except for "Storm".

This is doing better than I expected.
I love this song, I hope it can make at least a little dent in the chart.

Yes. Why do they bother? It's not as if they're going to help his album.

He is good but his singles hasn't had the hit quality this time around. Maybe with the next album.

He just keeps doing the same thing over and over. I think he's a very very boring artist, plus, a bad producer. She really should stop having such a huge ego and get a producer and people to play in his albums. His sound is already old. Plus, I hate what he does to his voice when it's mixed. I don't know how to explain it, it's like it's muffled or something.

I don't like this very much. It's way too repetitive for me. I hope that it stalls pretty soon and falls rapidly.

I can't believe he got the biggest hit from this album after three songs that basically flopped.

I can't believe he got the biggest hit from this album after three songs that basically flopped. Yeah, I don't get this either. "Where Are We Runnin'" was the perfect lead single from the record, Lenny did everything right there; went with a formula, rocked out, and embraced his roots, all within three minutes. Yet, it never got anywhere significant. "Lady", at least in my opinion, isn't nearly as catchy and, by what I've heard, listeners unanimously prefer "WAWR" over "Lady". Sincerely, Noah Eaton

My only problem with "Lady" is that it takes too long to reach any kind of climax.Β Other than that, it's kind of catchy.Β The GAP commercials obviously didn't hurt either.
The video is nice as well I might add.

I really love this song now, having heard it in multiple promos for "Alias".
