I just noticed this, but Finger Eleven looks to have a backwards bullet going 20-22* this week with Houston, Ryan Cabrera, & Lil' Flip passing them and then one of the Usher songs going recurrent. After that, things are not looking healthy for Finger Eleven to reclaim top 20 status for yet another week as Linkin Park will pass them and then Outrageous may make a run for the top 20.
Poor Finger Eleven! :(

Slight correction: If Burn goes recurrent, then Finger Eleven should move 20-21* because Houston has already passed them. The week after that, Yeah! should go recurrent, so they might re-enter the Top 20. If Linkin Park passes them, there's a higher chance that Los Lonely Boys and D12 may fall behind them anyway (especially with the latter notorious for fast falls.)

why is BEP's bullet dwindling? >:( Go Avril for reaching #8, and WO! at Ashlee Simpson. Why are such generic pop songs reaching the top of the charts nowadays?

I wouldn't call Ashlee's song "generic"... And I think it is GREAT that pop songs are performing well on the pop chart! Wow what a concept! :o

There could be five Top 40 debuts this week. Switchfoot, Dashboard Confessional, Lloyd, and Seether are guarantees. If Burn goes recurrent (which it almost definitely will) and Franz Ferdinand continues at their present pace, they could squeeze past Shifty and grab #40.

LOL! Franz Ferdinand are a group, not a person. They're named after the Archduke of Serbia whose assasination kicked off World War 1.

Z100 took a chance on a song that didn't succeed? :o They played "I Love You" by Faith Evans which didn't chart.

What is takeing Freek-A-Leek so long? He just slowly loses 100 spins. PLEASE RADIO LET ASHLEE TAKE #1 AWAY FROM JOJO!!!! Is it just me or do alot of artist seem to be slowing down? "She Will Be Loved" make just be the next #1. "Lets Get It Started" needs to make atleast top 7. "Outrageous" is not gaining to much, could it be another "Angel"? Next it will be Britney's sister with a #1 song and album.

Next it will be Britney's sister with a #1 song and album. Expect it. It will happen once she gets a little older. She will release a generic song and everyone will scream about how its the best song released this year and it will sell millions upon millions. Anyways I am hoping that Maroon5 grabs the next #1 and makes Ashlee's stay pretty short-it looks like she is slowing down a tad.

Not only has "Outrageous" taken a nosedive as far as its bullet goes, Finger Eleven's is way down. Now it's in the double-digits but still inside the Top 20 - barely. I really hope CHR does right by "One Thing" and it receives a bullet boost and peaks higher. It really is a fantastic song and it sounds different from everything else on the radio.

I'm not complaining so much about "Outrageous'," loss of spins. I think it is an incredibly bland song. R. Kelly really messed her up. However, I enjoy "One Thing." Some parts of the song sound a little similar to Limp Bizkit's "Behind Blue Eyes," to me. That's just my opinion.

Looks like we're going to be stuck with Yeah! for another week, but not Burn! How funny that the latter will go recurrent before its predecessor. Also getting the boot this week will be Yellowcard and Mario Winans, finally.
JoJo has held off Ashlee this week, but just by a hair. Pieces Of Me is less than 100 spins away and is pretty much guaranteed the top spot next week. Still, this has been an amazing run for Leave (Get Out) IMO.
For the folks who thought Let's Get It Started was going to suffer premature bullet loss, don't worry because it's back up and it still has a pretty good chance at Top 10. Hopefully, the same will happen for One Thing, which is my favorite song on the charts along with Dip It Low.
I never thought Terror Squad would do anything, but it's soaring with a +405 bullet and will likely break into the Top 30 next week. I'm really feeling this track and can see some more stations picking up on it, it's pretty fun. Who knows, it could pull a Tipsy.
Am I the only one who can't stand the Seether/Amy Lee song? Ugh, to me it couldn't be any more boring and formulaic. NEXT!

Los Lonely Boys and maybe D12 will fall below it and only Finger Eleven and Lil' Flip will likely pass it, putting it at either #19 or #20.

Expect "Yeah" to hang on next week too. Grrr...why won't this song just curl up and die already? Talk about overstaying your welcome (and it's probably going to stay on AT40 until, like, next spring or something -- a la 50 Cent). At least "Burn" is gone. That's one less Usher song to contend with. With it's current losses, it doesn't look like "Confessions Part II" is planning on sticking around much longer either.

So how many weeks did JoJo spend at #1? I like the Amy Lee Seether song but I do admit its a tad formulaic and I got tired of it quite fast. It it becomes a huge hit on pop I will most likely end up hating it....this has been played all over my alternative stations for a long time now

I personally don't like the Finger Eleven song. The band sounds like it's desperate to get a pop hit, much like Simple Plan's "Perfect." It's very sappy and formulaic. I absolutely can't stand the chorus.
Hopefully "Outrageous" can hang on for just a little bit, enough for it to hit top 20. They really should have let "In the Zone" go on for another one or two singles. The album could have done more if given the chance.
Hopefully we'll see Maroon 5 become the next #1. "She Will Be Loved" is an awesome song. All three of their songs have made a very nice impact on the pop charts. Great music from a great album made by a great band.
Thanks, Ben

Is this the first time a rhythmic song has ever spent 30 weeks on the chart? By "rhythmic", I assume you mean urban or R&B songs and not pop songs that got lots of airplay on rhytmic stations. I might be wrong here, but it seems the last R&B song to spend over 30 weeks on the chart was En Vogue's "Don't Let Go" which was on for 31 weeks. But no recent song has been on for that long, though many have come close.
