As it is produced by Timbaland, it will have a chance on pop.

I can't get into her music at all but this could be interesting. Timbaland and Bjork, what an odd match!

YES. Can't wait to hear this. It should be amazing, but I doubt top 40 radio will ever play Bjork. We'll see if Timbo can change that though.

She's this singer from Iceland. She has been semi-successful without having mainstream radio and video play. Her music is just so different. You may remember her from when she wore that swan dress at the Academy Awards that one year.

BjörkShe's truly one of the most innovative musical figures to emerge out of the '90's. Björk's personality quirks, unfamiliar accent and intriguing world view, in general, make here a bit of an acquired taste for some but I highly recommend you check her out. Her music is nothing short of phenomenal and the woman really is insanely talented.

Björk's actually got a show coming up at The Apollo Theater in Harlem. I could have seen the Gorillaz playing there...but this is very different.

Seriously. So many dumb people, so little time! Whoever thinks Bjork will get CHR/Pop airplay at is inane. Plus, as JCMF3 said, it's not going for adds.

I am from Northern part of Europe, but I have closely watched US popchart since the legend Casey Kasem was the host of the chartshow in 1992 - so I guess I'm not such a dumb about charts anyway. Yes it will be quite difficult to imagine Björk in popchart, but there are two factors that might do good for the thing to happen - at first internet and globalisation is changing the playlist of radios slowly, because they have to play more what people want, not what DJ's suggest or have been paid by record companies. And the other reason is definitely Timbaland production. And of course there have been similar suprises on the chart anyway - like right now this excellent Robin Thicke song or about 10 years ago we had a pop hit by harp player Loreena McKennitt. I am only posting songs which will have a chance on pop chart and trying to predict whether singles(and I'm only posting the singles) will be successful or not. Why to do this - because it's simply fun and I don't understand the attitude of some people like it's some kind of extremely strict and serious business we do here. Hey, let's just have fun!

British magazine Uncut:Volta" is certainly more exuberant and in-your-face than the gorgeous miniatures of her recent work. It's not commercial pop music, exactly, for all Timbaland's glittery array of previous employers. But it's not unapproachably avant-garde, either, for all the fearsome credibility of many of her new accomplices.
If there's an analogue to Timbaland's previous work, "Earth Intruders" and an even punchier, weirder track called "Innocence" recall the alien tribal electro sound he created for Missy Elliott circa "Work It". "Innocence" is quite, quite extraordinary; wild acid clicks and squelches swarming around Bjork as she sings with the sort of triumphal abandon found on "Violently Happy". "Untouchable innocence, it's still here," she declares, "but in different places".

Björk is just amazing. I'm not a HUGE fan of hers but you don't need to be to realize she is a genius.

The beats were done by Timbaland, not produced by Timbaland.
And, this song is FIERCE.

I LOVE it. It's fierce and glorious. It really does sound like she and Timbaland bridged the gap between modern beats/synth and tribal music.
I heard some hardcore fans don't like it as they said it's not an actual song or something. I think it's amazing.
So much better then the last CD IMO.

I am totally loving this! I have been a casual fan of Bjork over the years.
And that Mark Stent Extended Edit is cool too.
