I notice this is getting a fair few spins... it's been MASSIVE globally. Could pull a Las Ketchup and sneak into the top 40, but Pop Radio is FAR too resistent for it to have much chance of being a real hit.
It's fun.

It was such a big hit here in Germany and Europe. But I don't think that US radio will play this. I guess we'll see.

If it is like The Ketchup Song, I hope it stays FAR FAR FAR AWAY from US radio! >:(

It's "Mai Ai Hee (Dragostea Din Tei)"... it's not as bad as "The Ketchup Song (Hey Hah)", thank God.

This is so far superior to The Ketchup Song it isn't even funny. Although I prefer the Haiducii version to the O-Zone version, I'd still like to see this have mainstream success. It seems to have gotten 2 Open House Party spins this weekend, and unlike some other songs getting OHP spins (i.e. "Cherish The Day"), this one could be poised for a chart run. Dance-friendly stations and those in more international cities might make this a minor hit.

I forgot ALL about the Ketchup Song, lol!
This is better...well the Haiducii version anyway...I heard part of the O-Zone version when I was in a store last week, but the Haiducii one is better, maybe because I'm more used to that one

I like this song, but there's no way this is going anywhere in the US. They can deal with a little Spanish, but Romanian? I doubt it.
The Cheeky Girls totally should have had a hit here though.

The Cheeky Girls totally should have had a hit here though. Hahaha. I can just imagine the confusion in America over what a "bum" is. Why would you want to touch a "bum"? Aren't they those homeless guys out on the sidewalk?

Hands down the most annoying song of 2004. On the pop charts, don't expect it to rise above #30.

Before speaking about O-Zone's performances may be you should learn how to write the title of their song: DRAGOSTEA DIN TEI. After that you should find a Romanian teacher to translate the lyrics for you, because, just opposite to Las Ketchup, their lyrics do mean something and they do sing with their voices not doing any playback. As a Romanian I am proud to see that at least they created some confusion in your stupid minds. So, please do not post any other smart opinion before becoming smarter. Mai-a-hi! Mai-a-ho!

I love this JAM! I hope it becomes a smash on this side of the pond. They're Romanian? No wonder the lyrics sounded similar to the romance languages...because they're in Romanian! Ai-yah!
