Separate question -- has there ever been a list compiled of the longest reigns in the top 2? I think Uptown Funk actually would be the winner there right? It IS the winner. It spent 18 weeks in the top 2 (14@no.1, 4@no.2).. The formerly held record was 16 weeks (3-way tie between One Sweet Day, I Gotta Feeling, We Belong Together) 15 weeks was pretty impressive as well: songs like I'll Make Love to You, I Will Always Love You, All About That Bass and... (Shoots! Not quite sure there's more or not..) you can check billboard.com and in my memory it was responded by billboard staff in an issue of "ask billboard") haha |
