Rick Dees is doing another all-request "special" this weekend, although he's not calling it that. He's given it a fancier name ("40 Special Songs That You've Chosen" or something equally lame), but that hardly hides the fact that it's just another show consisting of 40 random songs that he drew out of a hat.

The chart on Rick's site appears to the the CHR/Pop chart.
His special has Hoobastank at #1.
Rick on "The Reason": "The #1 song over the past four months returns to #1. Possibly the biggest hit of the year. Will it be the #1 song of the year?"
Foreshadowing on a little swap-at-the-top of the yearend chart come December, anyone?

Since "Yeah" is obviously going to be the top song of the year on the R&R chart, it would be nice to have a chart without that song on top.
