Will Yeah finally go recurrent? What songs will regain their bullets after Labor Day mayhem? Stay tuned!

My hunch is "Yeah" will go recurrent in two weeks.
Switchfoot will go recurrent first, then Juvenile will fall below Usher by next Sunday.
Usher will probably finish next week at #20 when Kelly Clarkson and Terror Squad pass him up. But I don't think "1985" will get to usher by then.
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

Next week is harder to predict because of Labor Day weekend, but if the current trends continue, three songs (Usher, Switchfoot, and Los Lonely Boys) will go recurrent and there will be four top-40 debuts: Nelly & Christina Aguilera, Skye Sweetnam, Vanessa Carlton, and The Killers.

What's the deal with Fatboy Slim being at #24 on Rick Dees' chart? Did he co-host the show?

"The Joker" was played in place of "Everytime" by Britney Spears.

"Yeah!" appears to be stabalizing at 3200 spins. And we thought it as bad when "In Da Club" stabalized at 1800...

Hopefully My Boo will get ride of Yeah, once Meant To Live falls off Yeah will have the most weeks in the top 40, and that record probally want get beat this year.
Fly ??? It had over 500 plays and now is down below 100?
Breaking The Habit, and Dare You To Move, will both of them fail to reach the top 10?
I didn't know Let's Get It Started was really Let's Get It Retared --Talk about crazy song names and almost total editting of a song.

Holy... what the heck happened to Linkin Park's bullet? I know this was a holiday weekend, but even Finger Eleven is now gaining more than LP...

My guess is radio couldn't deal too much with a song sounding too much like "Numb." Now I know "Breaking the Habit" is a different sound for them, but it still sounds similiar. And I know "Someday" did well even though it sounded a lot like "How You Remind Me," but the realease of "Numb" and "Breaking the Habit" seem too close together. As if they are the same song.

I don't remember when you made that topic about IDC having less than 1000 spins but it's remained at 1000 since then.

Yeah, with a bullet of +30, which should change though.
Fly +34 :'(
1985 + 166 what is up with this song? It gains all this spins then keeps dropping. At the rate it's going it won't even hit #17, like their last hit.
Tangled Up In Me +62, this got 69% on Open House Party's RATE, RATE THE RECORD. The guy said alot of people though this sounded like what is already out. TO me this song is much better than Pieces Of Me, but then her last name isn't Simpson.

I know that trends are still recovering from Labor Day weekend, but this is just plain loco! Houston is down to +27 and will likely only scrape the Top 10 (he'll get in due to -595 Kevin Lyttle). Linkin Park is down to -81 (!!) Dashboard Confessional is down to +16. Franz Ferdinand is down to +2, and they were bulletless on a previous update. BUT...I think Ciara and Usher/Alicia Keys may be syphoning spins from much of the chart in addition to trends still recovering. She is +782 and they are +790. Whoa, DC came out of nowhere! I expect them to either sneak in near the bottom this week or debut huge next week.

I'd like to see Houston get a Top 10 hit with "I Like That", even if it's only for a couple of days that lasts through Sunday, so he gets an official Top 10. I'm bummed "My Place" was headed for a Top 10 slot at the final update and then was knocked out and now looks done for :'( Soooo close At least if it just got 1 week

My Place did get an official week at # 10, on the week of 9/3. Are you sure? I don't think it ever held #10 at a final update, it hit #10 like Thursday & Friday of last week before falling off through the weekend and before Sunday's final.

I'm 100% sure that it was # 10 on 9/3. I printed out the chart for that week and I just went and checked it. Also, if you go to R&R's Pop chart, it shows # 10 for Nelly in the last week column.

On this morning's update, "Yeah!" is #21 with a -30 spin trend!!!! 'Bout friggin' time! And it is safely enough below #20 that it's chances of rebounding by Sunday night are very very small.

Maroon 5 are back in the game! Bullet of +256!
Hilary Duff & Franz Ferdinand also reclaim small bullets, and Kelly Clarkson is up to +371

Some bullet recovery across the board...Finger Eleven back up to a +233! Let's see them keep that up. Linkin Park also regains their bullet, I have a feeling the bullet loss was a fluke but BTH may not power its way to the top from here on out.
Destiny's Child has 895 spins off the bat and will debut in the Top 50. Top 30 isn't out of the question for next week. Lose My Breath is going to do big things!
The race for #1 should be interesting, now that Maroon 5 has regained a decent bullet. They may sneak in a week at the top, but with Avril close behind, their stay won't be long. Also, don't count out the Black Eyed Peas and Ryan Cabrera.
How the hell is Sunshine in the Top 10?! Not a bad song, but not deserving of #7 over lots of good songs behind it.
