The Album Leaf & American Analog Set are two of my favorite Indie bands out there right now. TAL has, far and away, the most relaxing music I've ever heard in my life. Seriously people, their music will make your mind and your body just melt when you hear it. "Eastern Glow" is especially soothing, because of the mixtures of violin and piano together... oooohhhh, getting warm & fuzzy just from thinking about it. Among my other TAL favorites are: Last Time Here, and September Song. American Analog Set is very relaxing too, albeit they're more of a "Chill with your buddies" relaxing whereas TAL is a "I had a stressful day, and need to melt the bad away" or a "I need to get to sleep" relaxing. AAS has very rhythmic songs that just make you feel good inside, but they pull this off without the almost sleep-inducing effects of TAL. Amongst my favorite AAS are: Million Young, Weather Report, The Only One, Hard To Find,

You can find The Album Leaf's official site here: www.albumleaf.com/index.php?textNum=0And you can find American Analog Set's site here: www.amanset.com/They have MP3's for downloading on both iTunes as well as the *ahem* illegal services, so I'd highly suggest scoping them out. ;)
