I don't know. I think it might have a reasonable, albeit unlikely, shot. It is kinda catchy. If listeners can tolerate hard(er) rock, then it might not have a problem.

The only really "hard rock" song that I can think of that has really succeeded in recent memory is Bring Me to Life.
Much as I like this song, I just don't see the same happening for So Cold.

The only really "hard rock" song that I can think of that has really succeeded in recent memory is Bring Me to Life. Much as I like this song, I just don't see the same happening for So Cold. It's possible, it has that crossover appeal, really. The music and the hook.

Oh wow. A couple of weeks ago, I was sort of imagining my pop station (WABB) playing it during the overnight hours, but just because they were coming here for Bayfest in two weeks. Then again, if Crossfade is already into the top 60, then this, a much more musically interesting song, could make the top 50.

Well, I don't know if anyone right now is seriously thinking this will reach the upper eschelons of the chart. Maybe something similar to or less than what Three Days Grace did with "I Hate Everything About You".

This doesn't sound like a pop hit to me. I know that songs like "Headstrong" and "(IH)EAY" have been hits, but those songs aren't as dark or heavy as this one.
