I'll admit, my shallow self only bought this because I thought he looked hot on TRL! The longer hair really suits him! His other stuff was good, but this was really good as well! I'm happy I bought this!

^ Well, I could do with that, but I would also love to see "Gravity" or "Vultures" released as a single.

Really? That's too bad... Anyway, does anyone have his other albums opening position in Australia? And how much they've sold?

John Mayer, who is currently touring with Sheryl Crow to promote his new album Continuum, keeps his heart rate going strong in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

I've never been a John Mayer fan or have purchased any of his prior records, but this one sounds interesting. I was listening to clips from iTunes and it sounds good. I was in Target yesterday and it sounded like him coming from one of the stereos and it caught my attention. I'll probably downlod this from iTunes today and try to locate a hard copy or buy if off Amazon.com.

I did end up buying this album and it's very good. I've never really liked anything of his before, but I think "Continuum" is excellent. I'm impressed. He deserves an A for this.

John Mayer, who is currently touring with Sheryl Crow to promote his new album Continuum, keeps his heart rate going strong in Los Angeles on Wednesday. Cool, he's hangin' with Andre Agassi. ;) Anyway, "Continuum" is pretty solid. Better than "Heavier Things", IMO.

John Mayer Skirts the Jessica Question WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 22, 2006 08:25AM EST
By Carrie Borzillo-Vrenna and Tim Nudd
At the American Music Awards on Tuesday, John Mayer was typically reticent about his relationship with Jessica Simpson, but said he's having a good time generally in his life.
Asked on the red carpet by E!'s Ryan Seacrest whether he is dating Simpson, Mayer at first replied, "Uh, no." Seacrest pressed the musician for a bit more, and while Mayer wouldn't bite, he did say life is good.
"I don't know, man. I'm having a good time. I'm being good to the people that are good to me, which is difficult in this town," he said. "I'm not trying to mess with anybody's mind. I didn't wake up one day and say, 'I'm tired of being me, let me go be somebody else.' I still feel more me than ever. I love playing music, and I'm having a lot of fun in my life."
Simpson, 26, and Mayer, 29, have downplayed their relationship since being linked several months ago, but friends tell PEOPLE in its upcoming issue that they are drawn to each other.
"They're fond of each other. There's a flirtation," says a source close to Mayer.
They are "enjoying each other's company and seeing how things go," adds a Simpson source. "There's no title to their relationship."

Not a huge fan off Mayer, but I'm totally impressed with his amazing guitar work and I do like some of his songs. Love the song he did on the AMAs, which I've heard him sing on a couple other shows recently too. (I'm drawing a blank on the title, but I'm sure it's his latest single.)

What about "Belief?" It's already top 20 on Triple A.

What about "Belief?" It's already top 20 on Triple A. Everybody thought it was gonna be "Belief" but stations are playing that independently. "Gravity" is the official 2nd single that Columbia will be pushing.

"Gravity" is the official 2nd single that Columbia will be pushing. That sucks. They should just go with what already has hype. "Belief" is more mainstream anyways. It has more potential to cross over to other formats, unlike "Gravity" IMO.

Gravity is a lot better than Belief.
