Really glad that Fergie is having extended success with The Dutchess and has established herself worldwide. The album grows on me with each listen.

Fergie Working On Second Album by Paul Cashmere - September 28 2007 photo by Tim Cashmere Black Eyed Peas' Fergie will release her second solo album in 2008. Will.i.am revealed in an interview with Rolling Stone that the album is more than halfway finished. The new record will come just over a year since the release of her debut record 'The Dutchess'. Sessions for the album are expected to be completed soon for hopefully a December release but the album now looks like it will be released in the first quarter of 2008. Fergie became a member of Black Eyed Peas in 2003 after leaving Wild Orchid. Wild Orchid recorded three albums but the last one was never released. I don't think that she will release a new album that soon. If BEP release a new album next year I don't see a solo CD coming out also...

Fergie and the Peas have both beeen good for each other. BTW Fergie did not lip synch as a kid and having seen her live I can tell you she is great live and does great things in concert.
I also just found out her grandmother just died and she was down for her concert in mexico and the concert started late because of it.
I wonder if the tour will now be affected.

In a few short weeks, her album will have outsold Beyonce's. So much for Miss Knowles being the "It" girl. What part of it don't you understand? Bouncy shot videos for virtually every song, had a monster #1 single and still failed to outsell her first album or Fergie's. She isn't "the queen" like her fans try to make her out to be. |
