I heard his single on the radio for the first time. I didn't even know radio was playing any of his singles.

Oct 12, 6:22 AM EDT Iglesias Does Turn on Soap Opera
LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Enrique Iglesias wants to spread his music far and wide, including the make-believe world of daytime television.
The 32-year-old Latin heartthrob will sing "Somebody's Me" from his new CD "Insomniac" on the Nov. 7 episode of CBS' "The Young and the Restless."
"Music has changed so, so much," he said after taping his appearance Thursday. "It's tough out there, so you need any outlet to put your music out there."
On the show, Iglesias performs at Indigo, the jazz club owned by Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John).
The singer's other TV credits are the CBS comedies "How I Met Your Mother" and "Two and a Half Men." He is interested in expanding his acting.
"I love sitcoms," Iglesias said. "It was different from the daily thing that I do. I want to do little things and learn."
Iglesias begins a world tour next week in South Africa, followed by dates in Europe before hitting the U.S. next year.
"I still feel like I haven't made the best album I can make, I guess that's what keeps on pushing me," he said. "I still feel like I can right better songs or make better albums."

Feb 29, 8:17 PM EST Enrique Iglesias to Quit Before Age 50
MEXICO CITY (AP) -- Enrique Iglesias plans to leave the spotlight before he turns 50 - unlike his famous father, Julio, who is still crooning romantic ballads after four decades.
"I'm not sure I want to be up on a stage when I'm 64 or 65," the 32-year-old pop star told The Associated Press. "In my father's case, I think he's going to die onstage and I respect that very much. In my case, in 15 years I'll probably look ridiculous singing 'Bailamos' ('Let's Dance')."
The Madrid-born artist - who debuted in 1995 with a self-titled album and releases the greatest hits compilation "95/08" in March - said dissatisfaction with his own work is what drives him to continue performing and recording.
"When I listen to my music I think it can still continue to evolve," he said. "After a couple of months go by, I think I could write a better song."
Iglesias said he is striving to make the perfect record - "One you listen to 10, 15, 20 years from now and say, 'Oh! I wouldn't change a thing.'"
And until Iglesias makes that album, it seems his plans could change.
"I want to retire in the next 15 years," Iglesias said. "But that's what I say now. Who knows if I'll have the courage to do it when the day comes."

Apr 19, 1:45 AM EDT Iglesias says Kournikova keeps rebuffing marriage proposals
SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic (AP) -- Spanish pop singer Enrique Iglesias says he has tried repeatedly to convince his girlfriend Anna Kournikova to marry him - with no luck.
Iglesias spoke to reporters Friday after arriving in the Dominican Republic for the first of nine concerts planned across Latin America.
Iglesias says he's been involved with the tennis star for at least three years and says she keeps ignoring his appeals to wed. In his words, "I always try, but she pays me no attention."

I wonder if anyone's gonna pick it up. His album sales of his English-language albums have been dropping throughout the years.
