2 years ago, Dark New Day released their debut album Twelve Year Silence. They have been on a bit of a hiatus as lead singer Brett Hestla and bassist Corey Lowery have been producing artists, drummer Will Hunt and guitarist Troy McLawhorn have been tour fill-ins for Evanescence and Clint Lowery has been a touring member for Korn. Once their obligations with Family Values are up, they'll be in line to start writing and recording for the new album. They've called on David Bendeth to produce the album (Breaking Benjamin, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Paramore) which is due next year. In the meantime, you can hear two tracks that they've self-produced "Fist from the Sky" and "Hail Mary" which recently came out. "Dear Addie", a third track had been released for a day on Brett Hestla's Myspace but is now down. www.myspace.com/darknewday
