So nobody is excited at all?
This album is more country-rock oriented.

I can't wait to hear it. I never bought Bo's Clive CD, because Bo doing pop didn't interest me at all.
Bo doing country/Southern/rock definitely interests me.
When does the single go to radio, and are there clips to be heard anywhere?

Is he still with RCA/Arista/whatever label he signed to after AI? Or is he indie now?

I am very excited about this new album. I think it is the one I wanted ever since he came off AI. Thanks for the links, journey! I love American Blood and I'm Gone. Wonder which song will be the single and when it will be released?

He's not with RCA anymore. (he's not on their artist press page) Yeah, they updated their page. I think there were tons of artists that disappeared (can't remember who though). But, anyway, I'm excited for this era! I hope this finally gives Bo the success he deserves. I'll be buying this the first day fo sho!

Me too! And since no money will go to RCA, it is a win/win.

Bo's management posted on his website (bobice.com) that the release date has been pushed back to October 23rd and that the title will not be American Blood. Oh well. Hopefully they're putting together a decent promotional push!

^Well, I would be willing to bet that Bo's album wouldn't have debuted at #1 no matter what date it was released. Bo is just not popular by the mainstream right now. He most definitely won't have super huge first week sales numbers (and that's not a bash. I'm sure Bo realizes this). If his album is going to be successful, it's going to have to depend on how consistant the album is in future weeks. Debuting at #1 really doesn't matter in the long run.
I actually think this could be a smart move because the press may eat this up "Idol winner and Idol runner-up at it again!", which would be more publicity for Bo and should gain more sales for him. Plus, as has been mentioned, hopefully, Bo's management is planning on having some promotional things for him to do.
I love "American Blood", and I think I am going to really like the sound that he's taking with the album. I may ask for this on Christmas, I don't know.

I also love "American Blood" it is such a beautiful song, but according to his site the album will not be called AB. I have a feeling this is going to be a great album!

thats Carrie Underwood's date, he's gonna get beat again, lol! I liked him too, its a complete shame! Well, if music was a sales competition, that would be a real shame! But since it's not, I think this is a smart move. Bo will get extra PR for his release, which presumably won't have major label money behind it, and more people will hear his music. Carrie's going to sell more records that everyone in the known universe. I'm a Bo fan and I know it. I'm sure Bo does too. We surrender! Now can we talk about what matters, which is the music? Apparently a press release is on the way soon with album details. I really can't wait!
