But it had no chance of getting over 10,000 spins on the CHR/Pop chart with the small number of stations on the panel right now. To get over 10,000 spins on the Mainstream Hit chart is very impressive...

So R&R no longer goes by the Mediabase 24/7 chart? Because it is their CHR/Pop chart that I'm looking at.

I dont know whats up with the video either, I got an e-mail a few weeks ago with a premiere date but I deleted it, and it has passed anyway. Edit: The video was to premiere on Launch on November 30th, this past Tuesday but it's not on there. Apparently TRL said it will premiere next week. |

I don't listen to the radio because I normally don't here what I want to hear on the Pop/Soft Rock/Rock/Hip Hop/Rap station around my area, they play like rap crap, which totally sucks in my book

Two questions: Which one of these charts is used for Mediabase's YTD chart? When is the YTD chart updated? (I'm assuming with the Saturday midnight update, but I'm just checking to make sure). The reason that I'm curious is that I can't seem to access the YTD chart from my computer and, if I knew the answer to the two above questions, maybe I could piece the YTD chart together using one of the updates. |

The video's supposed to premiere this week. Supposedly it was filmed awhile back, so I don't know what the delay was all about. Still it's too late to help the song over 10,000 spins (though 9600+ is pretty impressive).

I was looking at this week's POP chart and I saw how close 'Over and Over' is to pass the 10,000 spins in a week mark. Two questions: 1. Can they do it, ever though their bullet is almost done.

A spin is one play at one radio station. The spins we're referring to are the total number of plays the song receives in one week on every pop radio station on the Mediabase panel. This is the basis of the R&R chart. |

The spins for this song are almost certainly higher than anything 'Complicated', 'Smooth', or several other megasmashes of the past five years didn't duplicate, at least on a spins-per-station basis.
Keep in mind also that 'Over & Over' accomplished those stratospheric spin counts despite being on fewer than 90% of R&Rs reporters (106 out of 120 stations), which is flat-out mind-boggling, to say the least!!!

What stations held out on "Over and Over"? It's more singing than rapping, anyway. I honestly can't see why a station would pass on an obviously huge hit like this.

But 'Complicated didn't crack 10,000 spins, even with a handful more CHR/Pop reporters back then, did it?
