Hello everyone! Newbie here  Not sure of everyone's musical tastes, but I am a huge classic rock fan and the girl rockers of Heart are my absolute favorite. The girl version of Led Zeppelin (but that's a whole other debate  ) They have always been (and still are) highly underrated. Seen them perform live many times --all recently and they can still rock with the big boys. Just trying to get my feet wet here starting with what I love most. Any other fans? |

Um...funny you should start this thread as These Dreams, one of my favorite songs from the 80s (and I grew up an urban music fanatic) was on my IPOD yesterday and I got nostalgic. I also love Barracuda. These girls are really talented and they show how hard women can rock.

Yes, these ladies are amazing, I agree.
Funny you mention the "female Led Zeppelin." I've noticed they do love to cover LZ, both on albums and in concert.
Ann Wilson has a recent album of duets (including some with Nancy), which I love. Naturally, she covers LZ, this time with "The Immigrant Song."
ETA: My favorite song on Ann's new album is "War of Man" with Alison Krauss.

I love them too. "Alone" is my all time fave, however I love the old stuff like "Crazy On You", "Magic Man" and "Straight On" as well.
Ann Wilson is one of the best female singers ever.

Yeah, I forgot about Crazy On You. It's so hot that even Eminem used a sample of it, haha. Does Heart have a greatest hits?
