Just confirmed as her third single. Too early for predictions yet as "Shadow" is still climbing at #15.
I'm still confused by the whole faux-rock Ashlee Simpson-epic.

The lyrics to this song are so stupid, but it's still catchy. I don't think this is going Top 10 though. I predict #14.

I could've sworn the fans were choosing the 3rd single, and last I checked, "Autobiography" was in the lead, followed by "Better Off", and then "LaLa" was in last out of the three. Where did you find this out? ???

I don't like this even though it's catchy. It's catchy in a bad way. She should've gone with "Better Off."

Word is that the label is rigging it so La La will win (or La La will be the single anyways) I just heard that from someone I post with on another board who works for a radio station. And yes I know everyone has a "radio station contact" but Im just saying what I heard from him

It probably was rigged. Ashlee even admitted she wanted "La La" to be the next single.
It was confirmed yesterday, I believe.

You can't be serious.
This is the worst single of the year.

I don't particularly like it, but it's not THAT much worse than her other two singles.

This song is really catchy, and it would sound nice on pop radio. The lyrics are odd.... but all of my friends who own the album consider this the best song. I think it'll be a big hit.

This isn't really radio-friendly. She should have gone with "Autobiography". It's a much better song.

This song kicks ass. It's very Garbage/Republica. I used to really like Shadow, but it sounds awful on the radio. I think this is extremely radio friendly. She should release Better Off as her fourth single.

I think it already won. It was a no-brainer.

Are they seriously going to release this? Because this is so bad that I can't even see pop radio playing it. Her voice sounds absolutely awful, especially in the chorus. And what the hell is "You make me wanna la la" supposed to mean?

And what the hell is "You make me wanna la la" supposed to mean? It's a take on her Liquid Ice commercial! She said, "La la la la la la," as Jessica was asking her, "Liquid or ice? Liquid or ice?" Caliente!

consumer.umusic.com/ashleepollv2/I think this is the correct link...Z-100 is just calculating New York's choice. This link, on the other hand, is the one directly from the mailing list. And, besides, Z-100 has "Love Me For Me", which was not an option.

OMG this is a horrible choice. She would've been better off with "Better Off".

It's been four months since the rise of Ashlee Simpson, and I'm already tired of her. She bugs the h*ll out of me. I hope Shadow is the last single I hear from her. And another thing, Shadow sounds like sh*t on the radio. Hopefully it'll lose its bullet quick and this new song will flop. Hopefully Ashlee's on her way down.

I completely agree, like when she first came out it was like a breath of fresh air, now I want her dead. Well, not dead, but her singing career dead I think everyone got too excited and listened to all the single worthy songs as soon as the album came out and everyone got used to them too early. "La La" "Autobiography" and "Better Off" were cool jams like 3 months ago Sorry Ashlee
