Jessica is a bit of a fame leech, but she is hot and the cd is ok so it doesnt matter that much. Well I don't find she's hot or pretty.. but I've never seen her in concert yet so she could be hot.. I met Michelle & she's really cute..at least to me. Michelle is pretty NOW, but I cannot help but think of when she was ugly before her label makeover. And she is NOT a naturally cute girl. You should have seen her before the record label started giving her tips and such!! Its probably the same for Jessica, but I never saw her pre trying to be famous. Either way, I think they work well together musically haha.

"My Oh My" is currently undergoing consideration to be the 2nd single from the album but it has not been confirmed. The band and the label are currently looking at video treatments.

My Oh My is a bad choice. They should release Tennessee or Hard To Love You. I love the song "Rain" though.

My Oh My is a good song but not as second single!!! they need a multiformat song that the AC and Country even pop radio can play... My Oh My is the most country song on the album even more than leave the pieces

If Michelle wanted atention she can do a solo good album by herself that is a safe option... not take a girl that nobody knows and is only her friend (but a girl with talent like Jessica has)and made a good country album like SSLP that now has success in her new audience...

so these girls went from failing at pop to being a success at country? Michelle Branch is desperate for some attention damn If you want to see "desperate for some attention," look no further than your signature, featuring the reality TV bimbo daughter of a former wrestler trying to make a name for her self based on her name rather than talent... then come back and tell me who's desperate for attention. kthnxbye.

I think they're looking to be a hit moreso in the country market than the pop market!! If the country market latches on to them, the album sales are gonna skyrocket!

CONFIRMED! MY, OH MY IS THE NEXT SINGLE : Thursday, July 27, 2006 Driving Through Texas Okay, so we're driving through Texas (At least I'm assuming-just woke up on the bus) on our way to Dallas. Jess and I just watched the Texas Chainsaw Massacre (again) a few days ago. Our driver is taking all these weird back roads and it's making me think of that horrible story. Remind me to stop watching scary movies!!!!!! I'm the first one up as always because of Owen. She'll be a year old in a few weeks which just blows me away. Any of you that have children understand. It's like someone steps on the gas and voom, there goes another year. That's what we wrote My, oh My about. We're really thrilled because it's going to be our next single. Jess and I just found a treatment we love so hopefully we'll be shooting the video soon. Well I better go be mama (and brush my teeth). HERE IS THE MESSAGE THAT MICHELLE LEFT ON HER BLOG @ blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendID=9167381&blogID=149190228

Branch finds musical match in Wreckers By Kristi Singer For The Sun News www.myrtlebeachonline.com/mld/myrtlebeachonline/entertainment/15142491.htm Michelle Branch has been one of the most talented songwriters to grace the pop music scene in the past decade. Throughout her solo career, she's achieved four top 10 hits, sold more than four million albums and took home a Grammy. Signed to Maverick Records at 17, Branch released her debut, "The Spirit Room," to much acclaim. Her debut single "Everywhere" was a No. 3 charter, followed by her first No. 1 hit "All You Wanted." Her sophomore album, "Hotel Paper," followed in 2003. In 2004, Branch took a break from her solo successes to team up with longtime friend and touring backup singer Jessica Harp to form The Wreckers, who will perform Monday evening at the House of Blues in North Myrtle Beach. Harp had been pursuing her own career in Nashville, Tenn., as a singer-songwriter and was about to ink her own solo record deal when The Wreckers came to fruition. The Wreckers' debut, "Stand Still, Look Pretty," released in May, peaked at No. 4 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart. Kicks! chatted with Branch via phone while she was traveling on her tour bus to Dallas. Here's what she had to share about her new musical venture: Question | Tell me how the duo came to be. You had an amazing solo career going strong - what made you decide to join Jessica and form The Wreckers? Answer | Jessica and I met six or seven years ago, and we've been playing music together sort of instantly. She was pursuing her solo career, and I was pursuing mine at the time. We'd get together and write songs, and we knew that one of us would end up using it somewhere down the road. But whenever we would get together, we'd always sing them [the songs] together, and one of us would sing harmony, and that's just naturally how we did things. As years went on and on and on, and Jessica and I became closer and kept writing more and more, we started joking that one day we're going to start a band. When I finished touring and promoting [my last record], my record label was really anxious to get me in the studio and have me make a new record. But it just wasn't the space I was in. I had been spending a lot of time with Jess, writing a lot and I said, "Would this help? Would we be able to pull this off?" Jess and I went into the office and pitched it to them, and they, fortunately, liked it. Jessica actually turned down a solo record deal to do this. I think at the time neither of us were thinking what a big change we were making to our lives - it just seemed like the right thing to do, and it just seems like the next natural step to what I wanted to do. It doesn't really seem to me that I veered off track too much. It just seems like it was right. Q. | Your solo material was mainly pop-rock. Have you always been a country music fan as well? A. | I hate having to put so many labels on different kinds of music and only being allowed to be in one genre and experiment in one genre. I think it really stifles creativity. ... I'm a huge, huge music fan - country to rock - anything. My dad was more of a country guy listening to Hank Williams, Patsy Cline and Dwight Yoakam. But I also listened to Led Zeppelin, The Beatles and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. So I am a country fan. Jessica is more of the modern country girl - she's always been a country girl. She listens to The Judds and Reba McEntire. She has more of the modern country [influence], and my dad listens to more of the classic country, and we just met somewhere in the middle. Q. | Are you happy with the change from solo to duo? A. | I'm so happy. I'm at a different place in my life - I have a daughter, and I'm married. She's gonna be a year in two weeks, actually. I'm just in a totally different space in my life. Being out on the road in the past by myself promoting records is so different compared to now. I'm out here with my best friend making music every night. We really have a great relationship where we've never really crossed the line and got in arguments or whatnot. We're very honest with each other. To be able to sit around, play music and look over and see your friend on stage changes the whole dynamic. Then to come back on the tour bus and have my daughter waiting for me - the whole experience has been so completely different from what it used to be and so much more enjoyable. Q. | Do you plan to ever go back to your solo career? Or will you continue with The Wreckers? A. | We're going to try to stick with The Wreckers as long as possible. It's really up to how this record goes. If we don't find success with it, we'll probably come up with another game plan and probably end up making solo records. But I, fortunately, don't think that's the way it's going. I think we'll be able to make more records. And that's just so exciting at this point - that it's all going so well. It started as a joke and has really turned into such a blessing. I think Jessica and I are content right now with where we are, and we've been working a long time to get to this point.

Aww @ no more solo. :'(
I love the Wreckers, but they didn't make a song as good as Michelle's "Til I Get Over You" or "Hotel Paper" or Jessica's "Over Me" or "Memphis". We'll see..
My Oh My BETTER do good or I'm gonna have to go punch them for choosing that song. It's the one song I skip most of the time.
