I have to say, I'm pretty excited about her new album. I just hope she follows through and actually promotes this one. A tour would be fantastic. She has a decent live voice, unlike most of her peers (here's lookin' at you, Miley Cyrus).

Lindsay Lohan is on the move, gliding through New York's John F. Kennedy Airport Thursday after making a cameo in a N.E.R.D. video for "Everybody Nose."

Despite earlier reports of Lindsay Lohan canceling meetings with mega-producer, Timbaland, to work on her next album, sources confirm that she was not even set to work with him. "Lindsay is very serious about this album," our source says. "She wants to go to the next level with this album. She wouldn't cancel meetings." Timbaland's rep also confirmed that he isn't working with her on this project. Lohan's upcoming album, her third, is set to be released this fall, and involves production by J. R. Rotem and Scott Storch.

Contrary to rumors that Lindsay Lohan has caused serious delays on her upcoming album, fans can expect to hear the singer/actress crooning on the radio in the next few months, say those in her inner circle.

"She already has four songs [completed]. It'll be a fall release and they're looking to sneak a single to radio this summer," a source close to Lohan tells PEOPLE.

The star's rep denies recent reports that Lohan has not been "cooperative" and canceled important meetings.

"There's no truth to it," says the rep.

Reports claimed Lohan blew off several meetings with Grammy-winning producer Timbaland, but the source close to Lohan says she's hard at work on the album and denies the meetings were ever set up, "though Lindsay would love to work with him," the source adds. A rep for Timbaland confirms that he was never scheduled to work with Lohan.

A Universal Music Group spokesman told PEOPLE in a statement: "Recent reports about Lindsay Lohan and the status of her upcoming album are completely and factually untrue. What is true is that she continues to be extremely focused and hard at work on the project. And as a company, we are looking forward to releasing the album when she is done."

Having touched down in Las Vegas Friday afternoon with BFF Samantha Ronson, Lindsay Lohan made a beeline to a corner booth at the Strip House restaurant – where she ordered a lobster, French fries and drinks.

Her libation? Shirley Temples.

The sweet concoction of lemon-lime soda, grenadine syrup and a maraschino cherry was a far cry from the Grey Goose vodka and Red Bull mixture she reportedly had consumed April 19 at Hawaiian Tropic Zone in New York at a party deejayed by Ronson.

After the early lobster dinner, it was off to Red Rock Resort, 17 miles west of the Strip, to take in Kanye West's Glow in The Dark tour.

Lohan, 21, then retreated to her and Ronson's two-bedroom suite at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino, while Ronson was deejaying the grand opening party of Torrid, the nightclub inside Planet Hollywood's Hawaiian Tropic Zone.

After pursuing the jungle cat known as Lindsanius Lohanicus for nearly a year, it appears Ugly Betty may finally have caught its prey. Multiple Ugly sources confirm to me exclusively that the comeback-hungry actress is in advanced discussions to guest-star in the show's May 22 season finale, which is currently in production.

But that, my friends, is not the big news.

No, the big news is that Betty producers are currently talking to LiLo's camp about bringing her back next season for a sizable arc – and I do mean sizable. We're talking as many as eight freakin' episodes.

No doubt ABC is looking at the ratings mileage CBS got out of Britney Spears' How I Met Your Mother cameo and is hoping Lohan can perform the same magic for Betty, which, despite firing on all cylinders creatively this season, has seen its viewership tumble by double digits. Depressing, I know.

Specifics on Lohan's character are still being finalized, but the original idea was to have her play a hapless fast-food worker that Betty befriends. Not sure if that would still be the plan.

Now, I know you Betty fans were initially resistant to the prospect of a Lindsay-Betty confab, but in light of the show's recent ratings woes, are you warming to the idea? I certainly am.
