IMO Heaven Sent is the best R&B song released this year.

^Second that. She knew the perfect way to top "I Remember."

I think both I Remember and Heaven Sent were good slow songs. I did not think she could get any better than Love off her debut project, but the slow jams on this CD were solid.

Her single should surface in late September, early October. She's already made it clear that this new album will contain less heartache/heartbreak and focus on more upbeat, sexy material.

Early October would be perfect for the new single to drop. I'm really anticipating her new album!

I hope it doesn't mean.... stuff like... "look at me now, I made it to the top.....rags to riches.... hate on me bitches"... type of stuff...
Cause from the sounds of it, it doesn't seem like she's had much positive in her life to make a full album on........ other than her new found success, that is.

And I prefer Just Like You and Work It Out to any other ballads on the album.... but, i still think Fallin Out would be a great single.

I just hope she doesn't go and start recording disposable hip-hop crap. I can't deal with a whole album of "Didn't I Tell You" type songs.

Keyshia I love you. Sistah to sistah.
Now don't go making a upbeat record and isolate your urban fanbase. So many singers have done that and it backfires. And please don't think just because your coming out during X-Mas that you are guaranteed to sell a million first week. I cringe when I hear you say that. Don't think you can put out crap and we'll just buy it.
I love your two albums, but ask Mary J Blige and Monica what happends when you think you are growing as an artist and your fanbase doesn't buy it. I just hope that its a natural progression to more uplifting material and happy records and not songs that you think you have to make to get more songs.

That's exactly what she thinks. She wants to sell a million the first week. But I don't think she would be too far off. I could see her selling 500-600k depending on the single and promotion. Both of her albums debuted with solid numbers despite her not promoting that much during the first week. Geffen usually spreads her promotion out instead of trying to pack everything in one week and then having the CD drop like a rock.
I initially thought it was a bad idea to release a new album so soon, but if the single is good, then it's fine.

Yea, she may be at her No More Drama already, which is quick thanks to Mary helping to pave the way for her. Also, I do not think she should team up with Kanye. He is one of my favorite rap artists, but his productions are somewhat lackluster. I do not know about Keyshia selling 1 million first week out. That is a long-shot.

I kinda ignored Heaven Sent until I saw her recent performances and yes, this is one of the best R &B songs of the year...easily.

You can not compare Monica and Mary's progression let alone Keyshia's "progression" with EITHER of them. Not the same circumstances AT ALL.

They should try to push for Double Platinum sales, but it seems as if they are pushing for her next release. I do not know about Got To Get My Heart Back. That is a weak single.

Loved Heaven Sent, and thought her last album was pretty solid. Looking forward to this. But I don't think she'll sell more than 500k in her first week. If I had to guess, I'd guess 300k. Albums just don't sell that much anymore.

I ignored it as well until a few weeks ago, when it came on the radio and I didn't change it right away. Wow, was I missing out! One of the most gorgeous R&B songs in recent memory, and it's become easily my favorite song by her. And to think I actually hated it for hogging the #1 spot on R&B/Hip-Hop Songs for 8 weeks, but now I think it 100% deserved that.

I really think her label would be smart to release one last single and push the album to 2 mil. Gotta Get My Heart Back or Didn't I Tell You could easily take it there.
