As requested, a new thread needs to start up, as the other one was getting too long. As it stands, Pink is kicking ass in the US world wide. STILL! After 40 weeks of IND being on the charts! TALK ABOUT LONGEVITY b***hes! Pinkches, enjoy this new thread and have a blast. This will probably be the thread that will carry us onto the next era, so use this thread for anything Pink related until that time comes. Enjoy. !

Further reflection of how well Pink is still doing WW.
Some updates:
In Switzerland:
U + Ur Hand: #20 (-4) Who Knew: #65 (-24) Stupid girls: #86 (-8)
In the Albums chart, despite two entries in the Top 2, I'm Not Dead climbs 2 spots from #13 to #11and is about to re enter the Top 10.
In France:
I'm Not Dead is up 8 spots to #14 (am not surprised, U + Ur Hand is getting heaps of airplay at the moment). The album has now sold more than 150 000 copies here.

Wow,I love the fact that FRANCE is finally EMBRACING Pink again(after the TRY THIS fiasco)...It's great to see I'M NOT DEAD in the top20 again I've read that I'M NOT DEAD came it at #46 in the FRENCH 2006 YEAR-END-ALBUM CHART,way higher than some ladies&gentlemen that had way more success than Pink in Usa Yay,Pink!!!!! ;)

Oh that's too cool. I love her success there as well. It's like the French don't see her as another American artist. Sweet.

France is notorious for being hard to break (especially for American artists), so that's awesome. I wish more people had the perspective to understand that Pink is doing better overall than almost any other female artist touted by this forum. I guess the blinders go up as soon as the success falls outside the US.

Oh I forgot to tell that Nobody Knows entered the Dutch top 100 at #98. Wich is kinda suprising because it isn't yet released in Holland. Maybe this means she has alot of airplay

Yeah I do hope that too. I think its like a statement from Belgium to push that song to the #1 position (2 weeks already). F*ck you Bush we don't want you and we proof that with this song! And i can tell you that alot of people think the same way in Holland.

May people think there here in OZ, the UK, and in most other countries. I think if DMP was released in France, they'd make Pink their Queen. Hee!

I guess the blinders go up as soon as the success falls outside the US. Thats because they have a law that limits the amount of US music to be played on radio and TV. Same goes for American based Television shows and movies.

France, like many other european countries, protect their national symbols (like language) and radio/tv has to show a certain % of french songs/shows. It has nothing to do with the US, are you people blind and believe everything people say in here? Now tell me, how many songs does the US radios play that are not-english (or not-spanish)?

Doesn't the U.S. hate France?
I doubt that's why though. It's probably to limit the amount of outside influence that enters into the mainstream media and culture. Since American has a lot of mainstream movies and music, a lot of the stuff that would get airplay and videoplay there would probably be American, thus drowning out any local material.
