This should be interesting. I love TM's guitar work, and now he is going to be a vocalist.

He doesn't even sing backup for Audioslave, so I am not expecting Chris Cornell level vocals from Tom Morrello.
I wonder if he will sing or rap?
Tom Morello does amazing things with a guitar. He makes it sound like just about anything the imagination can conjure up.

"a rap mc's turntable"?? omgwtfbbq Also, have you seen the guy? lol, he's not rapping. I've seen him play - seen him with rage and I just don't see him rapping at all. No, I wasn't a Rage fan. I am an Audioslave fan, so I have become a Tom Morello fan that way. I never could stand Rage before, but I grew to like them because of Tom Morello. I am not the first to make the 'turntable' connection. Billboard said it before I did. So, thanks to Tom, I can now listen to Rage and enjoy them, where I used to change the station.

LOL No, i'm cracking up at "rap mc's turntable" , not at the idea. The idea was obvious - you could tell that from the second ratm hit the scene. Sorry you couldn't feel rage til recently. When I bought that tape, it was freaking awesome. What can I say? I detest most rap, so I don't make any pretense of knowing the lingo. The punk/rap of Rage, or Linkin Park......that I can do.

Sorry to hear it. Rap is awesome :) Hey, I am open minded. I may get there eventually. I do like some of Eminem's stuff, but not all, by a long shot. Mayby I am just too 'White and Nerdy'. Weird Al is my favorite rapper. LOL.

He's touring for this still. He should stop. Rage should reunite. I look forward to the day this thread is closed forever, lol. Amen! I feel guilty for bumping this thread and even more guilty for starting this thread. Tom Morello is a great electric guitar player. Tom Morello is one of the worst singers of all time. Rollingstone gave this mess 3 stars, which greatly lowered by opinion of Rollingstone. There is a reason why Tom never sang in his first two bands. He sounds worse than Bob Dylan, and that has always been my benchmark for horrible singers in the past.
