WTF is this? Many people are comparing this to the 1999 pop hit 'Everybody's Free to Wear Sunscreen'. But voiced by comedian Dennis Leary. Denis Leary with a pop hit: ain't that a b!tch!

It's not Denis Leary. It's Greg Giraldo. There's a topic over on Alternative about it but I'm too lazy to link to it.

Atleast it has some singing, opposed to "Everybody's Free."

Atleast it has some singing, opposed to "Everybody's Free." The full version of "Everybody's Free (To Wear Sunscreen)" samples the lyrics from a verse of Rozalla's "Everybody's Free" as a sung chorus. They go: "Brother and sister together will make it through, Some day a spirit will take you and guide you there, I know you've been hurting, but I've been waiting to be there for you And I'll be there just helping you out, whenever I can" The Pop radio version cut out the sung chorus for length.

Just gotta say... I LOVE "Everybody's Free (To Wear Sunscreen)." It needs to go into higher Gold rotation on every Pop station asap.
I heard a little bit of this new LazyBoy song on Z100 tonight.... I didn't realize it was an actual "song" though, I thought it was an advertisement for World Police lol. Now that I know it's a song, I'll have to listen more subjectively next time I hear it.

I don't see this making the top 50, on pop OR alternative.

Actually, 'Everybody's Free' is NOT from LazyBoy, it's from 'Moulin Rouge' director Baz Luhrrmann.

Trust me, every other website says it's Greg Giraldo, and as a Comedy Central viewer, I recognize Giraldo's voice.

I don't see this making the top 50, on pop OR alternative. Yeah. This is crap. It's not even a song. It could've been a commercial for all I knew.

If this isn't a song, then there's a lot of songs that people call songs, but aren't songs.
Its got a beat, its got a chorus, its got lyrics, although spoken word.
Its a song.
And I like it.
I don't see pop taking to it, mainly cause its not dumb enough in the content.

LazyBoy is actually one of the guys from Aqua ("Barbie Girl") Not the bald one, but the blonde one who married Lene Nyström

I don't think this song will even make a dent on Pop radio... but I think it's a pretty hilarious "song," and I actually agree with the majority of what it says.
The problem with this "song" is that once you've heard it, there's no real need to listen to it 50 more times. I'm sure it gets old fast.

Hell it's doing okay...Even got a few adds on Hot AC.
Right now it's #83 with +37 to make 127 plays this week.
