NOVEMBER 6
Today is the day we officially start recording the album. Monday Nov the 6th. Up until now we've been rehearsing all the new songs. I wrote about 19 songs that we are going to record over the next 3 months. There will probably be 12 to 14 songs on the record, and we will use the others for bonus tracks, b-sides, movie soundtrack songs, etc. I have also decided to produce this album myself, and the reason i chose to do this is because i feel that i understand the vision of the songs the most since i wrote them all. I also have 1 of the best drummers in modern music with an amazing bass player in the band which makes my job a lot easier. They're great and I couldn't ask for a better band to play with. We're going to take our time recording this album. In January when we're done recording these songs, we will listen to what we have and decide if we're ready to put it out or record some more. We will have updates here (their myspace) and at sum41.com as regularly as possible to let everyone know the progress of the record. Thanks to all our fans for your support, we really appreciate it. See you all soon and i can't wait for you guys to hear this new record!
