WBBO is now on the Mainstream Hit panel only and WAYV was moved to Hot AC. Both stations are in New Jersey and looking at their playlists neither one belongs on the CHR-Pop panel now. This could hurt Hot AC and Alternative songs this week. WBBO could have had the lowest 12+ rating in its own market out of any station on the CHR-Pop panel.
Edited to change topic title from 119 to 120.

I get both of these stations perfectly. I do notice WAYV is A/C leaning. A few months back WBBO went under a whole makeover and other than "pay for play" songs they only play rock/alternative.

WBBO had been doing a nice CHR/Alternative mix for a while, but recently they've dropped all the rhythmic songs. They should probably be moved to the Hot AC panel. WAYV has really been a Hot AC for a long time. Oh I agree with your signature too. Though I use various terms to describe formats, I've always preferred Rhythmic CHR to CHR/Rhythmic because the slash denotes that the station is two formats. I get both of these stations perfectly. I do notice WAYV is A/C leaning. A few months back WBBO went under a whole makeover and other than "pay for play" songs they only play rock/alternative. "Pay for play"? You mean WBBO wasn't just playing Skye Sweetnam because they wanted to? Shocker! ;)

WAYV is probably sending all Rhythmic product to Equity Communications sister station WZBZ.

Thanks for telling me that the panel wasn't 119 anymore. KZZP Phoenix, a Clear Channel Kiss station, was moved from CHR-Rhythmic to CHR-Pop. They lean rhythmic but have the following songs in their Top 30: 6. "She Will Be Loved": 74 spins 7. "My Happy Ending": 68 spins 12. "Breakaway": 44 spins 15. "What You Waiting For?": 35 spins 17. "One Thing": 30 spins 24. "On The Way Down": 18 spins 28. "Rumors": 16 spins (it's listed in 27th but is 28th if you use trend as the tiebreaker like R&R does) 29. "Welcome To My Life": 15 spins, 0 spins last week The two most recent additions (the other being KIZS Tulsa) to the panel are both Clear Channel Kiss stations.

Thanks for the link. Should be a place here on Pulse where you could find every link to most things on Mediabase.

I'm guessing WBBO is Hot AC leaning because they don't want the same sound as WHTZ. Kind of like playing second fiddle. WHTZ is doing better than WBBO in the ratings.

You can ask on radio-info but I don't know how many people can get both WBBO and WHTZ (the Monmouth-Ocean market is big in the north-south direction). You also make it sound like nobody should challenge WHTZ, but WBLI is beating WHTZ in Nassau-Suffolk.

(Off topic, but Kelly in KikiMets' new avatar loop was dancing to the same beat as the song I'm listening to... freaky!)

On Radio-Info, it was mentioned Press Communications stations WHTG-FM and WBBO-FM will have the same exact rock music format, airing simultaneously on both frequencies. 100000watts mentioned WBBO (B 98.5) will drop top 40 on Friday Feb 18, flipping to a simulcast of modern rock WHTG (G-106.3).

WBBO had already been removed from the panel, which currently has 119 stations. The most recent panel changes are KUDD Salt Lake City-Ogden-Provo being removed and WHBQ Memphis being added.
