I also noticed that "I'm With You" is a Gold but "Beautiful" isn't. *ducks* Now that's just kooky. It's too soon for IWY to be gold. Could when an album was released have an influence on Mediabase's Recurrent-to-Gold policies?

Seether's "Broken" has GOT to be one of two of the luckiest CHR/Pop tracks of 2004.
First, "The Punisher" was released to theaters in April and was a flop, JUST matching its production budget of $33 million BUT still failing to make a profit because of its advertising budget. And of course this single was the lead single from the motion picture soundtrack.
Secondly, it reached its peak months ago on Alternative (still suprised it made it all the way to #3 considering after two Top 10 efforts from Evanescence there, their next two singles were major Alternative flops, and Seether only had one strong previous showing with "Fine Again")
Thirdly, considering those trends, I figured "Broken" would likely pull a "So Far Away" on CHR/Pop, showing a Staind type of longevity and going recurrent, but inching up a very slow pace and peaking right around #20. Of course, this didn't happen.
Fourthly, when you lose your bullet MULTIPLE times outside the Top 10, it's a sure sign it's the end of the road for a single usually. Hanging in this long so multiplesingles could fall out of the Top 10 is incredible!
Finally, they are entering the Top 10 JUST IN TIME for the "holiday freeze", which insures Seether and Amy Lee will stand still in the bottom of the Top Ten until mid-January.
How lucky is that? "Broken" would earn my Golden Lucky Ducky nomination of 2004! ;)
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

Snoop Dogg and probably Trick Daddy will be in the top 10 aqnd push Seether out of there, unless it starts gaining enormously again. There are still two weeks for the song to slip out of the top 10.

some songs are also gaining huge numbers..... since u been gone by kelly clarkson, nobody's home by avril lavigne, etc. i think there is a possibility that broken will fall faster than expected.

Some songs lost some spins on today's update but I thought Avril lost unusual much. Now her bullet is 448. I don't remember how much she had yesterday but wasn't it 520 or more. Is it because of the holidays?
Every day that goes by with Nelly still having a bullet amazes me. Bullet of 31 on this update.

I'll be shocked if Nobody's Home doesn't at least scrape the top ten. I thought that song would be a sure-fire hit.

Nelly and Tim will get their 5th week at #1 this week. Avril has slowed down, this just might be another Losing Grip. I still can't believe that Gavin Degraw is still gaining. My Boo has picked up again with a bullet over +200. Are there any recurrents this week?

Nobodys Home will do at least a little better than Losing Grip-I hope it at least goes top 15.

I don't mind Nelly and Tim having a bullet. Usher is another story! Why is 'My Boo' going up?!?! Please go away already.

I guess I haven't been paying too much close attention to the chart cause last I checked Gwen still had a bullet. Instead she's in free fall and down over 1000 spins

"Sunday Morning" looks like it's in trouble...was a [debut] at #41 last week but this week slips back to #42...but with the recurrents moving off this week should move SM up to #40.
Expectations: Top 40 Debuts: Since You've Been Gone (#33) Sunday Morning (#40) Top 40 Droppers: I Like That Sunshine Highest bullet outside #40: Vertigo

Sunday Morning must not be getting the spins. Poor reaction to the song maybe? Not surprising really. Actually what's surprising is that this band was getting pop love to begin with. Sunday Morning is more what I expected from them to begin with as far as reception from radio.

As much as I love "Sunday Morning," Maroon5 has been played A LOT this year. "This Love" and "She Will Be Loved" are huge, and I'm not surprise that radio wants a break from them.

My Boo > Over and Over haha Sunday Morning is suprising, because it started off really good...it's got a lot of stations I guess they just don't play it often. Gwen is pulling a White Houses, Predictable, fall out of the top 40..haha now to get Lindsay Lohan on that path. Breaking The Habit is on week 19 right? Recurrent next week? White Houses should fall back into the top 50 to give it it's 15th week right? I guess it won't go recurrent.. >:(

It looks like the BEP are going to get another week in the top 20 at #17.

Breaking The Habit is on week 19 right? Recurrent next week? Yes, this makes 19 weeks, but it doesn't go recurrent until the week after next.
