List a few things that you've heard w/ Usher this year that you couldn't believe:
"Yeah" was the 5th song ever to have 30+ weeks on the pop chart top 20. Here is the list: "Hanging By A Moment" - Lifehouse (33 weeks) "Iris" - Goo Goo Dolls (32 weeks) "Yeah" - Usher f/ Lil' Jon and Ludacris (31 weeks) "Slide" - Goo Goo Dolls (31 weeks) "Run Around" - Blues Traveler (30 weeks)
1st artist ever to have 3 songs in the top 10 on the pop charts.
Any others?

OutKast is the only one to ever go 1-2 (Hey Ya! and I Like the Way You Move). I know he was the 1st because my local radio station was giving tickets away to meet him, and they kept pulling that fact out.

That doesn't even count My Boo, which is currently the #1 single on Billboard.
His year has been outright insane.
And Caught Up which wasn't meant to go for adds until early January has already found its way into heavy airplay.

He has had the biggest selling album of the year with 6.8 million copies sold so far. He's won 4 teen choice awards, 2 BET awards, 2 VMA's, 3 WMA's, 3 RMA's, 4 AMA's, 2 MTV Europe Awards and the list goes on ...

This has been the year of Usher, whether you enjoy him or not. I think it's great to see a veteran artist still going strong. He's easily the top male solo artist of the past ten years. At this point, he better watch out and not get overexposed, but he keeps putting out solid, solid, solid material that are hits...So who knows how long he'll be on top of the charts.

Yes, but has he effectively beaten Timberlake to be the "next Michael Jackson"? The saga continues...
