So, it appears The Starting Line are trying to decide what should be their second single since I just took a survey from RateTheMusic.com. The two choices were "21" and "Something Left To Give."
I chose "21" since it's less of a ballad and more pop-punk/emo, but I think both songs are good. I can't see either one doing anywhere as close to "Island (Float Away)" since that's a lot more radio friendly than the other two and they just came out of nowhere with that hit.

Oh yeah, I never did get that site back into my favorites. I guess now would be as good a time as any.

I think they should just go with the ballad. TSL really nails it when it comes to ballads. A sweeping and epic song without any cheesyness is what they always succeed in.
I had this horrible dream last night that Kenny died and I think I know why. I'm still in shock about Casey from Hawthorne Heights dying. :'( :'( :'(

There wont be a second single. The band is taking a huge break for no reason and will be back in 2011.
Ughughughugh... >:(

that seems totally random, how the hell could you decide NOW that you'll work together again in three years. Actually it really doesnt make sense to get your first big hit out there and then go away. They should change their name to the Finished Line.

"Island" did pretty well, so that makes no sense why they wouldn't pursue at least one more single, but eh I guess that's the way they want to work.

They should change their name to the Finished Line. Good one. Also, the title of this thread should be changed to "TNBA".

I'm a mild alternative fan, and I LOVED this song, I still play it and it won't die on my personal chart. It went up to the top 10 I think, then fell to around 30-35ish- and it's back up around the top 20. Great song, haven't heard anything else, but they really are wasting.
