This will be the first official single off of her album according to Billboard. She's coming in the U.S. to do promotion, hopfeully she fares better than Tamayra. This is definitely the right track to release.

Is it confirmed her album "Free Me" will be released in the US on January 25?

What in the world. This sounds like something from a musical. It gets stuck in your head. And the video is fucking awesome.

Wow... if this does not break a Spice girl into the US then nothing (and since I Turn To You didn't work either) I mean nothing will.... this is Freaking Awesome, I love the video, its very Bond-esque... almost "Toxic-like" in a way Video via UK Launch: go to www.dotmusic.com and click on "browse all videos" and choose "B" and you'll find it!

Radio will not touch this. I doubt it will even make most music meetings.

EMMA Maybe Producer(s): Mike Peden Writer(s): E. Bunton, Y. Bondy Publisher(s): Warner/Chappell Music Genre: DANCE Label/Catalog Number: 19 Recordings/Universal 19rp0009 (CD promo) Source: Billboard Magazine Originally Reviewed: January 22, 2005
In its original version on Emma's soon-to-arrive U.S. solo debut album, "Free Me," "Maybe" is equal parts James Bond, Burt Bacharach and Petula Clark. Such elements are nowhere to be found on these club remixes. While some may find this blasphemous, others will simply rejoice that remixers Illicit, Bini & Martini and Almighty have injected "Maybe"—and Emma—with a harder veneer. The potent jam arrives on the heals of the lead single, the bubbly title track, a top five hit on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart. Indeed, these re-rubs of "Maybe" have the necessary ingredients to repeat the process—if not take the track to the top of the chart. And if history repeats itself, dance radio will also embrace the track.—MP

I like this. It's got a very retro '60s vibe.

I wonder which single will go to pop? I really hope it's Maybe. Breathing is her best shot at a hit, though. The I'll Be There (XL Vocal Mix) is amazing, too.
