I can see where you're coming from with them piggy-backing on Nickelback's success, but I think that with "Gasoline" they really started to shine as their own. Songs like "Hello Lonely", "Santa Monica" and "Say Goodbye" all have their own touch of ToaD-ness, IMO.

Having heard the song once more on the radio this morning, I'd forgotten to mention how their wanna-be Layne & Jerry harmonies in the intro and outro just add insult to injury.

I really like Theory of a Deadman but this new album is hard to listen too. I've listened to it a couple of times and I have no desire to buy it or listen to it again. I hate being disappointed with new albums.

I'm listening to this album right now. The chorus of "Not Meant To Be" sounds a lot like "Tattoo". Go back to it and see.
