When will people realize that record company's simply don't want their artists to release more than 4 singles from one album? The only artists that release more than 4 singles have HIGHLY successful albums which generate money for extra singles (Case in point: Usher, Michael Jackson, etc . . .). The only exception I can think of is Christina Aguilera with TVW, but the only reason she had a 5th single was because the video was cheap and she had 3 previous singles that all went top 5.

If you count Breakaway as the lead single I think five songs could come off this album... Since Disney actually released Breakaway as a single for the soundtrack I don't think it didn't really affect RCA's budget. I think if they release Because of You after BTHE it could end the era... because I don't see it doing to well. Hopefully, AC would be quick to recieve it after Breakaway's success in that market though.

I think people are saying that because there are SO many radio friendly songs on this album. I can only think of one song on it that would never do anything on radio. When you have an album full of songs begging to be singles, it just makes sense to release more than 3 singles. And I bet they will release singles as long as the previous one goes top 10 and the album is selling steady. (Who knows how deep that will be-BTHE could flop and the album drop for all we know)

According to Kelly's best friend Jess they are going to change the next single from Behind These Hazel Eyes to Walk Away.
Question: Is Addicted in the running for a single? Does Kelly want it to be a single?
Jess: I believe it is...right now they are working on Walk Away as the next single instead of Behind These Hazel Eyes.
I'm not sure how I feel about this... Behind These Hazel Eyes almost seems like a surefire hit... or at least very marketable. Walk Away is a bit more risky... but it's also very different, kinda funky. It's also not soo similar to SUBG... but nothing is set in stone.

So is BTHE the next single for sure? I really hope they do choose this and then 2 more singles.

For me, Gone and You Found Me are the only 2 songs I don't like, and I Hate Myself For Losing You is the only song that absolutely cannot be a single. "Gone" is the only dong I dislike, and I can't see "I Hate Myself For Losing You", "You Found Me", "Gone", or "Hear Me" as singles.

When I first heard the album I thought Walk Away had to be a single, so now I'm glad it will be. The chorus is catchy as hell and her vocals are really edgy. I agree though, Behind These Hazel Eyes must be the fourth. My guess is that Becuase of You or Addicted will be the fifth.

I guess i'm in the minority...."I Hate Myself For Losing You" is probably one of my favorites on the album. I could easily see it as a single.
My choice of singles would be
1) Breakaway 2) Since U Been Gone 3) Walk Away 4) Addicted 5) Behind These Hazel Eyes
I think RCA should release "Because Of You" to AC stations....I'm not sure how it'd do pop-wise, but it's a surefire hit for AC radio. I think "Because of You" is grammy-worthy...and by releasing it to at least one format, it'll put it in the running.
and like someone posted, "Walk Away" is in the lead for the next single....but I'd say that "Since U Been Gone" has 2 good chart months left in it...so that could change a million times before the actual time comes to release another single

I actually do think they should go with "Walk Away" and then "Behind These Hazel" eyes just to break the pace.

I'm so glad they're considering this. BTHE and SUBG are way too similar (though both are great) to be one after the other.
I agree that "Because of You" needs to be released to at least one format to ensure her a Grammy nod (great as all these songs are, they aren't gonna put her in the running).
Am I the only one who thinks that "You Found Me" could do well? It strikes me as a slightly heavier Hilary Duff song with actually good vocals. I think it would have Top 10 potential. Mind you, "Walk Away", "Behind These Hazel Eyes", "Hear Me", and "Gone" would probably all do better. "Addicted" MIGHT, but it also might be too heavy a theme for CHR.

Its possible that Breakaway can get 5 singles, if the album stays in the top .. i'd say at least 20.. while the singles are out. Who ever saw Shania Twain's COME ON OVER releasing 10 Singles? (Your Still the one, man i feel like a woman, that don't impress me much, from this moment, come on over, rock this country, honey im home, don't be stupied, you've got a way, love gets me everytime.. also When in europe).... The album did go on to sell 20 million only because of the singles. I thinkRCA will see that Kellys singles have been doing well, and will release 6 singles (including Breakaway), but may release to different formats. I see BTHE being released for sure, with BECAUSE OF YOU at AC, And Gone as well at CHR.

I hate the idea of segregating the songs into specific formats. I'd love to see Because Of You be a cross format hit but I guess you can't always get what you want :(

Yuck! This is a good song, but I didn't want it to be the third single. Kelly knew what she was talking about when she wanted Walk Away to be next - it's the catchiest thing on the album and very "Miss Independent"-esque. It was also a Spring track. I was hoping this would be the fifth single. Oh well.

"Behind These Hazel Eyes" is coming out of nowhere with 24 new spins.
It's not considerably safe to rush to conclusions on a small gain out of the box like that, but judging by the performance of this track quite often recently in appearances on TV and such, this just may be the third after all.
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

Because of you, Walk away & Behind these hazel eyes are all on mediabase's CHR/pop chart.. did RCA sent all three to some stations to test which gets the most positive reaction? Looks like it don't you think..

I think they new to shoot a video because soon "SUBG" will fall, and I think it'll go faster than "BA."

I don't know.
"Behind These Hazel Eyes" gained 8 spins since yesterday for a total of 32 spins out of nowhere, "Walk Away" remains at 3.
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

Kelly's people really need to get the third single in line. While SURG still has a good bullet, it's going to start falling soon, and when it does, it'll fall a lot faster than Breakaway. If they can keep momentum up, this album could sell even more than the last. It's a matter of chosing the right singles and making sure they have some moderate success.
