It would show me just how bad American radio is if this misses number one. SUBG is a great song but not even half as good. The video is the best she has ever done. It just makes no sense to me

^I agree. This song blows "We Belong Together" and "Hollaback Girl" out of the water, combined!

^I agree. This song blows "We Belong Together" and "Hollaback Girl" out of the water, combined! Eh, those are both songs with cross-demographic appeal. Something that Kelly doesn't really have. Given that she isn't even a songwriter, I'm happy she's being held off from the #1 spot.

oh no. the bullet is 57, is this the end of this era???? I wouldn't say it's over just yet. The bullet would still be in the triple digits if the chart weren't screwy from the removal of a station from the panel (reflected in the "this week" column but not the "last week" column).

BTHE is definitely her best single, I wouldn't mind it beating out Mariah for 1 week.

This song blows "We Belong Together" and "Hollaback Girl" out of the water, combined! while i disagree with half of that quote (opinions vary) i do agree that this song should be the next #1pop song, and i think u guys are worried for no reason, the bullet will be back healthy next week and this will still get the top spot soon

If "Since You Been Gone" can spend 7 weeks at #1 this deserves to at least spend 1 week at the top spot.

Kelly songs don't die easily. Why would this one? I expect a surge and a higher peak. Thats what Kelly songs do again and again and agaaaaaaaaaaaaaain.

I was looking over the stats from SUBG's chart run, and as long-lasting a single as Breakaway was on Pop, it wasn't nearly as strong at this point in SUBG's chart run as SUBG is now. It's stuck with having to compete with its predecessor for spins, and yet it's still less than 500 spins shy of SUBG's peak.

It has done very well, but in the end was overpowered by HBG and WBT. Which is fine by me, all three songs are very good, imo.

BTHE and SUBG dominated the charts in AIs for 3 or 4 months - and still are - creating waaaaaaay more of an impact than any other individual artists song or songs have at pop.

Note to everyone: stick to the thread topic and do not bring other artists into it for the purpose of starting a fight, or warnings will be given out.
No, its current peak is #3.
Holy shit, the Rate The Music numbers are insane. It's #1 on every age/gender grouping in the Pop category, and all of the burn numbers are below 20%.

even if it doesnt regain the high bullet and go #1 on pop i see it staying around the top for the rest of the summer, and its already a hit song so i wouldnt worry too much! the album is holding steady so this has done more than its fair share
