...A +70 bullet isn't very different from a +57 one... The last time I checked it was at - something. Sorry. True? Oh... it wasn't doing well!

The only competition we have is possibly Fall Out Boy and Britney. They'll want to keep her title as longest run, plus have her as number one. But, I think we have maybe two days before Britney can break into the top 1/2 of the countdown.

It would show me just how bad American radio is if this misses number one. SUBG is a great song but not even half as good. The video is the best she has ever done. It just makes no sense to me Meh. I wouldn't go that far. I love Kelly Clarkson, and I admit this a good song. But it's just that for me, a good radio-friendly song. If this doesn't go to #1 it will not symbolize anything for me. When songs like "White Houses" by Vanessa Carlton and Avril Lavigne's "Fall To Pieces" (to a lesser extent) flop... I worry about the continuing quality of radio.

even if it doesnt regain the high bullet and go #1 on pop i see it staying around the top for the rest of the summer, and its already a hit song so i wouldnt worry too much! the album is holding steady so this has done more than its fair share Couldn't have said it better myself. It's funny - not quite a year ago I would have given anything just to see Breakaway go top 10, and now here we are lamenting the horrible tragedy of BTHE possibly "only" peaking in the top 3 following up 2 #1 hits with insane longevity. Even if this does lose its bullet soon (and I don't think it will - keep in mind that if the "last week" column were adjusted to reflect the removal of a station from the panel, the bullet would be more than twice its current size), I highly doubt it would plummet - radio stations aren't going to drop a song that tests extremely well with their target audience and that most listeners are not tired of (see ratethemusic.com/allaccess/ for all of the pretty numbers). And even if it were to stop getting spins tomorrow, it's already a top 10 hit on the Hot 100 and Hot 100 Airplay, it has sold over 200,000 digital downloads, and Kelly's album has sold quite well during its run. With that being said, I am really starting to get pissed off by the lack of a Hot AC add date. BTHE is currently the greatest gainer on that chart will be top 10 there within the next couple of days, and we still don't know if the song will ever officially go for adds at that format. It's doing great, but there are stations out there that won't play a song that hasn't gone for adds and it's silly to not even give the song a chance to get played on those stations.

It's sad Kellys fans can't run her carrer. We would have videos shot on time, and add dates when needed. Not to mention, we wouldnt push her voice so much to where she has bad apperences (aka the Today Show second time)

Fall To Pieces was probably one of my least favorite on her entire cd.

I think this will peak at #2 which is nothing to not be proud of. Like Jessica said....last year at this time people thought that Kelly was a 1-hit wonder and now she has gotten more Pop airplay than any other artist this year, she has the #1 song of the year on 2 different formats with 2 different songs and she is selling loads of albums. Behind These Hazel Eyes has done Great!

I think that what RCA was saying is that they have much more pull and credibility when the song has done really well on Pop first. Now BTHE already has done great but I guess the think it can do better. Also, SUBG is the only thing that is holding BTHE back and it's still top 3 or 5 on Hot AC (haven't checked recently). They can't only play Kelly so it might be a good idea to wait till SUBG dies a little. Now some say that SUBG should die already and they might be right. But, right now whatever it is, it's working in terms of the ultimate goal which is selling records. Remember, there are many records that do great on radio (Mario "You Should Let Me Love You) but don't sell. So if we are on Kelly's side we are happy cuz it's working GREAT!!!

I don't think kelly was in trouble of being a one hit wonder last year. She had already had two huge hits with A Moment Like This and Miss Independent.

I agree that she wasn't a one-hit wonder (remember, unlike all of the subsequent Idol coronation singles, A Moment Like This was a radio hit, peaking in the top 5 on both Pop and AC and top 10 on Hot 100 Airplay), but the two singles she released after Miss Independent missed the top 10 on Pop, which led some people to speculate that her career was on its way to fizzling out.

I dont get the "pull and credibility" thing from RCA for Hot AC. I mean its like #11 on Hot AC. Both Breakaway and SUBG made top 5. Radio loves Kelly. Lets even the playing field and release things all at once. Since that did not happen this three months apart really it alot IMO.

Actually, Breakaway and SUBG both made it all the way to #2 on Hot AC, which makes the delay in the Hot AC add date seem even more foolish. All I know is that I will be really upset if they stagger the add dates for Because Of You. Disney made a smart move by sending Breakaway for adds at all 3 formats at the same time, and I wish RCA would learn something from that example.

Thanks to her 2nd wind, will Kelly take Mariah's #1 spot? I hope and think yes, but I'm 100% biased. I think people are getting a little sick of WBT about now, I know I am.

Not to offend or annoy anyone but I'm so horribly tired of this song. I actually liked it at first, but I guess not enough to debut on my chart. Eventually it just lingered in audio Limbo until it began to be played every few minutes in every radio station in the US. I really can't blame anyone or anything for this, but the song burned out months ago.
Never liked "Since U Been Gone", but that's a whole different story. ???
By the way, (I've skipped all 3 million previous pages) any news on the next single?

The next single is Because of You. As I've been told, she has been announcing it at every tour stop.
