^I think so too, on the Hot 100 anyways.
I blame RCA for that. They REALLLY dropped the ball with the Hot AC adds date. It could have EASILY went Top 5 on the Hot 100 if they had released it to Hot AC at the same time they released it to Pop, hell, even if they released it to Hot AC in the last month or so it would have done better on the Hot 100. Arghh....
Did they learn nothing from how Disney handeled Breakaway?

it may have dropped on the HOT 100 but you gotta remember that bo and carrie are in the top 5 for a short while. To me those 2 are special entries.

Yeah, Bo and Carrie will both fall soon and so Kelly could move back upto #6 but Rihanna will probably move ahead so I think it has peaked.

I hate when people say RCA screwed the Hot AC release. You people are insane. If they had sent the song to Hot Ac when they sent it to Pop, it may have done worse, because SUBG was still huge there. They are doing a freaking good job with kelly Clarkson and people just want more and more and more. Come on, she can't be always #1 everywhere!

^ All im saying is that its stupid that they never even released it. It doesnt have to be #1..I just think it would have been better if it was where it is now, about a month ago, and if they had sent it for adds a month and a half a go, it would have been.

So, has it been sent for adds at Hot AC yet?

So, has it been sent for adds at Hot AC yet? It still has not gone for adds. And I dont think anyone is saying it should have gone for adds the same weeks as pop. I just believe that it should have gone for adds at least a month ago. doc keeps saying RCA wants Kelly at #1 pop because it somehow gives the song more pull--there are over 80 Hot AC stations playing the song now--what more could they ask for?

It's not going for adds there, because RCA wants BOY to have a very succesful chart run on pop and ac and more importantly... on the hot 100

I'm not too sure how Because of You will perform at Pop, but it seems like a perfect fit for Hot AC and BTHE getting an add date might have mucked things up.

If they had released to Hot AC a month ago there would not have been any conflict. I dont see BOY going for adds until late August. That still would have given plenty of time.
I just dont like how much "pressure" everyone is putting on Boy. Maybe because its not one of my favorites but I just find the expectations unrealistically high.
Let each song have its run without being hindered by the next.

Well if BTHE does really well at HAC then they can always wait before sending BOY, but if it doesnt perform well there atleast they can come back with BOY, overall i dont see this as a problem at all but just more exposure for two really good songs which will help with current album sales and future success

That's what they're doing, but with everyone already thinking BTHE peaked and people already asking " When's kelly's next single coming out ", they may push the release date to something earlier.
( ex. already a BOY thread on a CHR POP thread when it's not even released yet, and BTHE not having peaked on the same chart yet )
so please people be patient. let's focus the talk on kelly more about her current single instead of another song on her album.
In BTHE news: + 168 701 spins from #1

BTHE has peaked on the Hot 100. Even if it does get to #1 on Pop, its not like its going to gain to much audience since its only like 2M away from Mariah. And its downloads have peaked.

^ True, but 3 #1s in a row would be quite an accomplishment.

to me the HOT 100 chart is not the chart of all charts. Just because she may have peaked on that chart does not mean that the song is over.

I heard "Behind These Hazel Eyes" on the HOT AC station here. It's MIX 102.9 in Dallas, Texas.
Thanks, Ben

Bullet is up to +360! :o While some of that bullet increase is due to the 4th of July special programming still being in the "last week" column, BTHE has now beat both SUBG and MI in the peak weekly spins department

could be #1 on Hot AC too..... Yeah, if it actually, y'know, went for adds On second thought, maybe it doesn't even need to go for adds, considering that 84 of out 89 stations on the panel are playing it :o

She could break 9000 spins by the end of the week. Her bullet is just under 400, 616 spins away from #1.
