For the 1/1/05 show, Rick is using the 12/10/04 pop chart. He skipped over the 12/3/04 chart, having done a "special" in early December that set him back a week.

so there is a chart this week? on the good charlotte thread it says they debuted at 34. anyone have it? If Good Charlotte debuted at #34, then I would guess that Rick Dees used the pop chart for the week ending 12/10/2004 on his countdown this week.

Michael1973 said above that he's using the 12/10 chart. pulsemusic.proboards12.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=pop&thread=1101762264&start=60DanG82 posted that the 12/10 chart Top 40 debuts were Good Charlotte at Number 34, U2's "Vertigo" at Number 38, and Ashlee Simpson's "La La" at Number 39.

It's the R&R chart of 12/3 that Rick never played. 1 Over and Over 2 Breakaway 3 My Boo 4 Lose My Breath 5 I Don't Want To Be 6 Dare You To Move 7 Baby It's You 8 Just Lose It 9 She Will Be Loved 10 Broken 11 Let's Go 12 Drop It Like It's Hot 13 Goodies 14 Welcome To My Life 15 On The Way Down 16 My Happy Ending 17 Let's Get It Started 18 Nobody's Home 19 Oye Mi Canto 20 Beautiful Soul 21 1985 22 True 23 Let Me Love You 24 1,2 Step 25 What You Waiting For? 26 Balla Baby 27 Only One 28 Disappear 29 Rumors 30 Daughters 31 Soldier 32 Hush 33 SUBG 34 Wonderful 35 Numb 36 Somebody Told Me 37 Encore 38 Lean Back 39 Lady 40 Sunday Morning Note: The Rick Dees website(rick.com) has not been updated for this weekend, and it has a Clear Channel copyright on it. I guess their affiliation is now over. I tried to call Y-100 to verify that Rick has been dropped but nobody has answered yesterday or today(at the request line).

Despite having never aired the 12/3/04 chart, Rick did use it for the "last week" positions on this week's show.
Also, WKCI in New Haven still carries the show, and they're owned by Clear Channel. Meanwhile, WKSS in Hartford (also Clear Channel) dropped the show a couple of months ago.

ok so lemme get this set. -the 12/3 chart is the 'special' chart that was on his site. -the 12/10 chart is the chart he put up for that week. -then theres the chart that is above which is the 12/17. -then theres two weeks of top 100 (24th & 31st) -the 1/7 is the 12/10 chr/pop chart.
sound right to anyone?
