Got to see Jennifer Nettles with the Indigo Girls and Brandy Clark last night! By far one of the best concerts I have ever been to! The amount of energy going back and forth between them and the crowd was incredible! I had seen Sugarland live 3 other times, but seeing Jennifer by herself was something completely different! It felt so much more personal and it was just so much fun! She is, by far, one of the best vocalists in the business and she better get a nod for Female Vocalist for the CMAs! I would love to see her win!
The Indigo Girls were kick ass too! Definitely got the crowd going! Incredible! Brandy Clark was great too!
Ugh I just love live music!!! <3 <3 <3

Besides the David Nail show coming up next month, I just got tickets for a Don Williams show here in Austin coming up the first week of November. This will be the third time I've gotten to see him, first when I was just a little boy at a county fair in Nebraska back in 1993; second was a few years ago at the same venue he is playing again here in Austin. I just couldn't pass up on this opportunity as I know his days of touring will be coming to an end soon I'm sure. For anyone who has seen him, he sounds just as good now as he did back in the day. I doubt I'll get to take any pictures at this concert since its a very intimate venue, but I'll try! For now, just a reminder of how great he is...

I'm seeing Zac Brown Band tomorrow with some family. I'm not a huge fan of these guys but it's a free show so I can't complain. :)

I got tickets to see Reba in September today. I've lost track of how many times I've seen her now (6? 7? 8?), but she always puts on such a great show. Reba was amazing as usual Friday night. She changed up her setlist a fair bit from when I saw her last year. She did a lot more songs, but some she just sang a verse and a chorus to fit more in. She sounded fantastic, and was funny and personable as usual. Great night :)

Well, tomorrow is almost here (finally!). I'm heading from Austin to San Antonio to see David Nail at the Aztec Theater. I've been anxiously awaiting to see him for quite some time. With it being Halloween I'm not quite sure what to expect...but it should be fun! Next Thursday is my third Don Williams concert...it's shaping up to be a great run of concerts!

Garth tonight was even better than last Thursday. You really can't complain when he plays Face To Face and Alabama Clay.

Going to see Big & Rich at the Seneca Niagara Casino on Saturday night. This will be the fourth time I've seen Kenny and John as I saw them at the Allegany Casino last October.

Leaving for the Big & Rich show tonight in Niagara Falls. I'll try to remember to keep a record of the set list in my phone. :) I'm not driving, so I can type on my phone. - "Comin' To Your City" - "Loud" - "Wild West Show" - "Jalapeño - "Lost In This Moment" - "Holy Water" - "8th Of November" - "Look At You" - "Love Train" - "Drink, Drank, Drunk" (with Cowboy Troy) - "I Play Chicken With The Train" (with Cowboy Troy) - "Save A Horse (Ride A Cowboy)" - Medley ("American Pie", "Jump Around", "Baby Got Back", among others) Encore: - "Rollin' (The Ballad Of Big & Rich)" Kenny & John throw a hell of a show. The medley thing is something I've seen before so it wasn't a surprise as it's what they do many times at their shows. They always bring up a veteran on stage when they sing "8th Of November" and was probably the highlight of the night. I just love when they do "Rollin'" though. Definitely a must see if you have not seen them. BTW: If you ever wonder why "Save A Horse" is still played on radio, just watch the reaction the song gets live. Lol

I've noticed that Pickler doesn't have any upcoming dates according to her website. She usually keeps a very busy schedule. Anyone know what's going on?

My brother texted me today and said that he has gotten some Garth tickets so I'm going.
Don't know what day or which time yet though.

She's probably in the studio recording a new album. She said something in an article about already starting it. Usually artists tour very little when they are in a true studio. It is odd though because even when she was in the studio recording The Woman I Am album, she still played shows at a few festivals.

She was also cutting The Woman I Am while doing Dancing With The Stars. The girl likes to keep busy-that's why I thought her complete lack of upcoming gigs was interesting.
On another upcoming concerts note, I just got tickets to Reba and Loretta Lynn at the Florida Strawberry Festival in March.

The Taste Of Country announcement seems to come sooner and sooner every year. It also drives me crazy to hear them plug it every bleeping segment. Though I understand why they would want to announce it now since the two biggest names have already been confirmed with Joe and Dierks. We'll likely see at least two more acts get announced over the next month or two.

So this is a tad later, but i see your point. And i think we will get three more acts honestly, they usually do 5 Edit: didn't see the part where you said we will get two more THIS MONTH lol my bad

Five is possible but I wouldn't bet on it. The tickets used to be $25 for every seat but they've decided the past few years to raise the prices for those field tickets.

I agree though, it's not my favorite place for a concert. Nothing beats the Arena. :)

Lady Antebellum's 2015 Wheels Up Tour (lol, Nashville, anyone?) will kick off on Feb. 28 in Europe and play throughout the spring, and the summer to North American crowds starting on May 1. Tickets go on sale starting Jan. 26. The tour will also include Hunter Hayes and Sam Hunt. Press release + first round of confirmed cities (huge list, but no specific dates given just yet).Extremely smart of them to do a combined billing with Hayes and Hunt considering both Lady A and Hayes' hype have diminished significantly over their past respective album eras. This should (hopefully) be a solid tour for all of them.
