R&R reports that a new Executive producer, Clarence Barnes, replaces Danny Lemos. Lemos has been with the show from the beginning, 22 years. Lemos is leaving to form his own company, “Is Don On The Phone? Productions”. The name is a reference to American Top 40 co-creator Don Bustany. The good news for Lemos is that Dees is his first client.
Clarence Barnes is the longtime KIIS-FM/Los Angeles weekend DJ. Barnes is also working on a “new Hot AC product for syndication”.
What does this means? IMO, Dees still has one ally at KIIS-FM, even if Ellen K leaves him high & dry. Barnes is probably going to produce the test marketed Ryan Seacrest’s new Hot AC countdown. Let the discussion & speculation begin…

That is messed up. The Top Ten matches the weekly chart while everything below number ten is from Rick's year-end chart. Hence, songs like "Lose My Breath", "Breakaway" and "Over And Over" are listed twice. Is that AC chart going to be the one listed on the site from now on?
