Did Mediabase make a mistake or something? "Dare You To Move" was removed to recurrent, but when you put the recurrents back in you see that DYTM would be #20, and "Lose My Breath" would be #21. However, oin the regular chart, LMB is #20 and DYTM is recurrent. Would LMB go recurrent if it dropped below #20?
19 GOOD CHARLOTTE I Just Wanna Live 2909 recurr SWITCHFOOT Dare You To Move 2841 16 20 DESTINY'S CHILD Lose My Breath 2815
If these numbers are correct, then Switchfoot should have another week on the chart and Destiny's Child should be recurrent.

The recurrents were removed in yesterday's update. Switchfoot was below #20 last night and so was correctly moved to recurrent. Just because LMB lost enough spins as of this morning to fall below Switchfoot NOW is irrelevant. Plus, LMB is only on week #18 this week (see above).

When you say "Going recurrent in two weeks", does that mean that LMB has two more chart weeks and then on the third chart week from now it will go recurrent? The way it is worded is confusing. Here's how I understand it: "This week", to me, means the 2/4/05 chart, "next week" means the 2/11/05 chart, "two weeks" means the 2/18/05 chart, etc. Is this correct?

Looks like 1,2 Step might have a shot at #1 this week too. Hopefully Green Day can speed up their ascent and make it a short stay for Ciara

Alright, info from the building chart:
*Ciara is currently #1. *Destiny's Child is #4, Jesse McCartney is #5 *Green Day is #7, with the 3rd biggest bullet in the top 30. It looks like it might actually need the Grammy push to get #1, because... *Eminem's bullet is about 60 plays better (and the top bullet). Grant it, Green Day might get the "all the other songs are falling, let's push this up to #1" push, but, gee, I don't know. Eminem is looking stronger as every day goes, while Green Day is looking just a tad weaker. Unless it dominates the Grammy's, it might play brides-maid to Eminem. *Kelly's at #8, gaining at a good enough clip that she should make top 5. *2nd biggest bullet on top 30: Usher's "Caught Up"
And don't panic about this, it's only Monday. I really don't officialy trust the building chart till about Wednesday, but I think it's pretty obvious Ciara will get #1 this week.
P.S.: WOO-HOO!!! "Somebody Told Me" holding off long enough to go recurrent last week!

Ciara is looking more and more like #1 this week. Especially if her bullet keeps up and Mario's continues to drop. That seems like such a short stay for Mario considering the kind of bullets that song had during its run (assuming Ciara knocks him out this week).
Jesses finally looks like he's stalling out. :) Wow to Nelly's rapid decent.

And yeah, i agree that Mario should be holding down the # 1 slot longer especially considering it was near Yeah! in airplay.

Ciara probably won't make #1 by the end of this week :( It still has 400 spins to gain and it probably won't do that unless Mario falls a little faster. Lovers and Friends is done. Soldier might move up to #3 by the end of the week. I think the main reason why SUBG has picked up is because Breakaway is now at #15 and falling fast and alot of stations have let go of it.

Howie Day didn't make the Top 5 most added. This shocked me actually. It's a sound that's very in right now AND it's Top 10 at HAC currently. Maybe because it's 998,567 times better than the "Beautiful Soul/True/Daughters" trilogy.

To negate the "better" argument a bit, perhaps pop radio is just saturated with Daughters/True type songs and having yet another one in their playlist like Collide is just too much for them. Just a thought...

(go Top 40 but not Top 30 and fade away abruptly) Sincerely, Noah Eaton

There is some hope my POP radion station added it, so hopefully others will to.
This song is much better than "Daughters" and a ton better than "Beautiful Soul"!

Are you talking about Karma or Collide??? I'd guess Collide, since the other 2 songs were mentioned in a post about that song.

kelly's bullet is now bigger than DC's, and green day isnt too far behind, so hopefully these three can leapfrog jesse mccrappney's BS and push him down #6. BS is just that, aload of BS

How many impressions would a song need approximately to hit number one on billboard?

I think Kelly might move up to #4 this week and Soldier will hit 3. Did LMB peak at #4 or 3?
