Looks like Capitol has gotten their act together... or maybe not. "2 Hearts" was rumoured to be the first North American single (the US and Canada). The as some stations began to play "Speakerphone", people assumed that would be the first single (it was never confirmed/denied by Capitol). Then it was said that "2 Hearts" would indeed be the first single, as Capitol set a tentative release date for Kylie's "X" in late February. Capitol then made "X" available digitally-only, and supposedly, "Wow" will be the first U.S. single (confirmed at Kylie.com), while Canada got "All I See". That was then, this is now. "All I See" is the official first single for North America (Canada and the US). There's a remix (not sure if said remix is the official single version) that features rent-a-rapper MIMS. Club mixes are forthcoming. The single goes officially for adds on March 25, 2008. (Incidentally, Craig David's "Hot Stuff" goes for adds the week before via Atlantic).

I like this song. Kylie's vocals are quite smooth on this one. And the production is good too. The version with the Mims is horrendous. Absolutely tragic. This one could remix well if the right people do it.

Lmao at rent a rapper comment. So true. Mims is horrid and unneeded to this song. What was Kylie thinking allowing this, I never thought of her as being like this to try and get American attention again.

What was Kylie thinking allowing this, I never thought of her as being like this to try and get American attention again. I'm actually quite surprised at the negative comments this remix is causing. Don't get me wrong, I dislike the remix too, MIMS needs to go away (and if he can take Scariah with him, the better!). However, what is the big deal, it is a REMIX after all. Many non-R&B artists have club mxes and R&B/hip-hop remixes and no one ever bats an eye. We all know the US music scene sucks and has sucked for a long time. If you're not doing some R&B/hip hop crap or "rock" a la Nickleback/Matchbox 20, you will not get any radio play. If this is what it takes for Kylie to get radio play, then so be it. Perhaps, once she has a hit with this, then the label can maybe push "Wow" or "In My Arms". Kylie has dabbled on R&B before, on her "Let's Get To It", "Kylie Minogue", and of course "Body Language". At least she is not THAT desperate, like say, Grandma Trashdge (and no one bats an eye!).

Mark Picchiotti on the remix:
- MARK!'s Sleazy Club Redux Vocal - MARK!'s Sleazy Club Redux Dub
Incidentally, he has also remixed George Michael's "Faith" (!).

Mark Picchiotti on the remix: - MARK!'s Sleazy Club Redux Vocal - MARK!'s Sleazy Club Redux Dub Awesome. Interesting. Maybe they commissioned some as a tie-in with ABC's Eli Stone since the song has been prominently featured during the first few episodes.

I've got news. Those Extended Album Version and Dub mixes that surfaced a couple weeks ago were the Mark Picchiotti mixes. They are at the same tempo as the album version.

I was expecting a new production for the song. Anyone from here could have done that extended mix for the song...

Considering the album version is like 101 BPM and the way the vocals are, the stretch may not work so well if the new mix were at like 125. But it could be done.

Sad that Mark didn't even do any production for this release. Such BS.

KYLIE MINOGUE - "All I See" (MARK!βs sleazy club redux Vocal and Dub)
the ext version & dub don't sound like sleazy club remixes to me..

Courtesy of the fabulous DJme:
Originally posted by DJme Got some news which some of you may find anticlimactic. I sent a message to Mark Picchiotti, asking him if what I'd heard was true, that his mix was the extended album version at 104bpm that was making the rounds.
Mark's reply:
"It's the one at 101 bpm (unless they sped it up a little during mastering)."

The Latin House mix seems to be the mix of choice; that one works the best with the song. :)

Is there a promo out there with the new uptempo Mark Picchiotti remixes? Because I've got them in VBR and they seem to have come from a CD. 1. MARK!'s Latin House Vocal (7:50) 2. MARK!'s Latin House Dub (7:42) 3. MARK!'s Latin House Radio Mix (3:13) 4. MARK!'s Deep House Vocal (7:31) 5. MARK!'s Deep House Dub (7:48) 6. MARK!'s Deep House Radio Mix (3:22) The mixes were referred to in the file information as the Proper House mix (presumably the Deep House version) and the Funky mix (Latin House version).
