Ok, so I totally did not take this singer seriously, especially with that song "Tina" that she sang, but....WOW! This song is on fire! There are mixes by Chris Cox and Trent Cantrelle/Nynex....the mix by T.C/N is INSANE!!!!!!!

Yep, a good song indeed. i heard the sampling of Al Corley's "Sunglasses At Night"... very cool.

I heard the Chris Cox mix. It's great. And SK8's vocals are much better. Prior to "Tina", she had a few other singles including "Crazy For You" (yes, it was a "cover" of Madonna's classic, for a good dance mix of the song, check out the Junior's Arena Anthem and Nikolas & Sibley mix of Madonna's original), "Nation" and "My Imagination." Listen to some of the other ones here. While "Tina" was nothing groundbreaking, it had some comedic value. Guido Osorio's mixes had decent production. I really liked the Yiannis Is Really Spun Mix. It sampled heavily from Armand Van Helden's mixes of "Sugar Is Sweet" and "Spin Spin Sugar." It's an interesting little mix.

I remember when I first heard it, I could barely finish listening to it. It always seemed to me like Chris Cox took his dub/instrumental of Danielle Bollinger's "When the Broken Hearted..." and slapped SK8's vocals on it. Didn't like it. That being said, I loved the Tina track. Can't wait to hear this one.
