man thats some drop from #10 to recurrent It's even weirder since there doesn't appear to be a set-in-stone recurrent rule in effect (note Switchfoot and Maroon5 still hanging around).

I only tuned in for the Top 10. When Mario came on at #3 and Ciara at #2, I spent 5 minutes trying to figure out who could possibly be #1 until I heard the acoustic version of the song come on. This is hilarious. I thought Jesse McCartney was in Rick's studio to give a live interview or something to justify the artificial jump. What's going to happen next week - he's going to drop to #5?

I'm guessing that if they're using a mid-week building chart (along with some personal preferences thrown in), then most or all of those would-be recurrents will finally be gone. If that's the case, there should be at least 4 debuts this weekend, maybe five.

there should be at least 4 debuts this weekend, maybe five. i reckon there could be as many as NINE debuts this week. i know it probably wont happen, but looking at the chart, i think that 39, 38, 37, 36, 21 & 20 have a great chance of going, with 34, 28 & 18 a possibility. and looking at the mediabase chart, there are plenty of songs to fill those nine places. my nine picks would be: obessesion (no es amor) lonely no more signs goin crazy like toy soldiers candy shop let me go look what youve done (all in the top 40) somewhere only we know (45/last weeks sure shot) mr brightside (possibility at 42, but i think will be the sure shot this week) its very unprobable, but these songs all have a chance, and with the way the chart is wacky at the moment....
