Could Flogging Milly be the first Against Me! cover band? This song seems a tad too patriotic or anthemic in some annoying way. Cheers for the Mellencampish string section. BWA HA HA. Flogging Milly. And an Against Me cover band? Man, I knew a whole forum of people who would flip their shit if they read that. No offense, but sometimes it pays to investigate a band if you're going to post about them.

All they really have in common is that they're both basically punk bands. I'd compare Flogging Molly much more to The Dropkick Murphys because both of them have plenty of Irish influence. There's plenty of other bands I can compare better to Against Me!
