According to Michael Tremonti, brother of Mark Tremonti, the song will go for adds on rock radio sometime in late April. It'll be a double format release.
The newly recorded Watch Over You featuring Cristina Scabbia from Lacuna Coil will go for adds around the same time on pop radio and there'll be a video treatment for Watch Over You to look out for.

Oh wow, that's really great news for Watch Over You. Is it going to be the theme song for something?
I really hope it does well on Pop. It's such a beautiful song...

I'm so excited that this is the next single. I think this is one of the best songs on the album, although really every song could be the best song on the album.

I would have preferred "Ties That Bind." That song is just so badass. Then again, I'm just starting to like "Watch Over You" and now that I do, I think it's my favorite of their singles so far. It's a really beautiful song.

It's a really beautiful song. Well technically, "Ties That Bind" was a single, for the UK, although I would've preferred that song too.

Good choice for a single, honestly though on first listen "Before Tomorrow Comes" was probably one of my least favorites. I just expected it to hit me immediately like "Rise Today" and some others on there did. I really like it now, and I think it will fair exceptionally well. I still think the original version of "Watch Over You" was better than the one with Cristina Scabbia. I hope the video version won't have her in it. I still can't believe that it never really took off. I'm still hoping that "One by One" or "Brand New Start" will be released.

Watch Over You is a beautiful song, but it took me this long to get into it so I can see why it didn't do so well. Then again, I hated Creed by their third album and was thus biased against Alter Bridge. Having Alter Bridge on the new Sevendust album for the two best songs definitely helped me warm up to them, and that was just in the last few weeks, just in time for for "Watch Over You"'s peak, which might explain why I like that song more than any of their other singles (unless you count "Ties That Bind"). That said, I find "Before Tomorrow Comes" boring in spite of my newfound interest in Alter Bridge.

I think if they were going to pick something for rock, I'd have picked White Knuckles.

Fmqb.com says it's the 21st and 22nd, and that's only the adds date for active and mainstream rock. There is not adds date listed for Alternative as of now. Have you guys heard the new version of "Watch Over You"? I don't know if I like it as good as the original, but it's really good nonetheless. It's a shame this has to come out as the original "Watch Over You" loses popularity. Oh well, hopefully the duet will fare better. You can hear it at both the Alter Bridge as well as Cristina Scabbia's myspace. myspace.com/cristinascabbiamyspace.com/alterbridge

3rd most added at Active
28 Motley Crue "Saints Of Los Angeles" (Motley Records) 17 Foo Fighters "Let It Die" (RCA) 11 Alter Bridge "Before Tomorrow Comes" (Universal Republic) 8 Weezer "Pork And Beans" (DGC) 7 Bullet For My Valentine "Waking The Demon" (Jive/Zomba) 7 Five Finger Death Punch "Never Enough" (Firm) 7 Rev Theory "Hell Yeah" (VH/Maloof/Interscope) 6 Endeverafter "Baby Baby Baby" (Razor & Tie) 5 Another Black Day "Wicked Soul" (Bieler Bros.) 5 Sevendust "Prodigal Son" (7bros./Asylum/ILG) 4 Gavin Rossdale "Love Remains The Same" (Interscope)
It's been hanging around the top 60 for awhile now, and I mean well before the adds date. This song should do very well for them.

there'll be a video treatment for Watch Over You to look out for. I still haven't heard anything about this. Does anyone have any info regarding the release/filming of the video?

This band gets surprisingly little critical slamming, especially considering the woeful hardships that Stapp & Co. endured from 1997 to 2003. It's also surprising how nobody refers to Creed when discussing this band.

It's also surprising how nobody refers to Creed when discussing this band. Probably because most people wont admit to liking Creed at one point but more likely because musically they are doing a hell of a lot more than they did before. I cant even say I didnt like some Creed songs back in the day but its pretty easy to see that what they are doing now is way beyond where they were.
