Jason was interviewed on my radio station Friday evening, though it was probably prerecorded, and he stated that "Relentless" will be the 3rd single from his album with the same name.
He also mentioned how long it took for "Laughed Until We Cried" to get to where it is on the charts, which for some reason took forever.
I think this is a good follow-up and will hopefully be his 6th consecutive Top 10.

Which almost 100% means Not Every Man Lives will be the final sinle from the album. Way to go, album sticker, you've gotten 3/3 so far.
One of my favorites off the album, should do well.

As far as this single goes, it's not a big surprise. This was clearly the safe choice, and Broken Bow rarely takes chances with any of their artists. There are several better songs on the album (I Use What I Got, Back In This Cigarette, My Memory Ain't What It Used To Be, and I Break Everything I Touch all come to mind), but Relentless fits thier formula the best (up-tempo lead single, then a ballad, then a mid-tempo, aka Relentless). They would be crazy not to release I Use What I Got at some point, but they didn't release I'm Just A Man off of his first cd either (which I thought was by far the standout song on the album).

Back In This Cigarette would climb right up the charts.
There's no doubt in my mind.

YAY! i love this but i would have preferred "Not Every Man Lives". that is my 3rd favorite on the album and this one is my 4th. "Johnny Cash" and "Laughed Until We Cried" are MILES better than anything else on this album though. both of those are amazing songs. i also like "Back In This Cigarette" but other than that there isn't really anything else single-worthy. so i hope S4C is right and "Not Every Man Lives" is the 4th single.

I really like Back In This Cigarette, My Memory Ain't What It Used to Be, and Do You wish It Was Me.
Hope one of them is the next single after this, if there is a 4th single. The 4th single would probably peak in 2009, lol.

When I bought the album I noticed the sticker on it said "Featuring the hit singles "Johnny Cash," "Laughed Until We Cried," "Relentless," and "Not Every Man Lives"." Those almost never turn out to be the right singles, but this one has got the last two right. (Shouldn't say 3/3 since JC was the current single.) And I sure hope so because that's my favorite song still left.

I'd be kind of surprised if they released a 4th single though, b/c I don't recall BBR ever doing that before (although Jason and Craig Morgan are the only two to ever even get 3 singles to my knowledge)

I've been very happy with Jason's single choices so far and I really don't think there's a bad song on this album.

My favorite song from this CD. I liked "Johnny Cash" too, but wasn't really a fan of "Laughed Until We Cried".

Does anyone think that the guitar on this sounds a lot like "I Got More" by Cole Deggs & The Lonesome?
What, am I the only one who remembers who CD&TL are?

This one looks like it will be around for a while, quite like "Laughed Until We Cried".
I think a Top 10 peak in late October/November for this one.

I really like this song. It'd be a pity if it was his first song to not reach the top ten.

I really don't understand how this song is struggling to make the Top 20. All of his singles seem to take the better part of a year to climb the charts, which at this point in his career seems odd because he is becoming fairly established.
I still hope this finds its way into the Top 10, and keeps his streak going.

I'm not too worried yet. Laughed Until We Cried got caught in the 25-29 range forever before it inched its way up. I don't think that this is his best work, but still not bad.

I wasn't a fan of this single choice at first, but "Relentless" has really grown on me. However, I'm guessing it won't make the top 10 since it's 22 weeks old and next week will be passed by Montgomery Gentry and Taylor. Then a little further down the line there's Rascal Flatts, Sugarland, and Brad/Keith all coming up fast.

I think it still has a chance. It's typical for him to get stuck for a long time and slowly move up (case in point: Armadillo Sky and Laughed Until We Cried).
