It might only be the crucifix but the superior, brunette cover brings to mind Charlotte Gainsbourg in Lar Von Trier's Antichrist. Or Tori Amos. Blond one for me, thanks.

WOW! I'm surprised she just didn't release another album? It doesn't make that much sense to me, but what do I know.

Tracklisting is probably fake due to: New York was said to be fake LoveGame acoustic? Can't see it happening.
I would be dispointed if there's never a studio version of eh eh acoustic :(

Well I never bought Lady Gaga's album, I just DLed the singles. I decided to purchase the whole thing after SNL but I'll just wait for the re-release. I really hope the acoustic covers are true.

The Cherry Tree Sessions of Eh Eh is AMAZING though. I love this version more though: and I'd love to have a studio version. Meh. It's cool... but the Cherry Tree version departs from her other acoustic work with the beatboxing and electric piano, which is part of the reason why I like it so much.

WOW! I'm surprised she just didn't release another album? It doesn't make that much sense to me, but what do I know. You're not alone. Monster is a potentially well executed themed collection, even suggesting an artistic progression for GaGa, but she insists on tacking it on to her debut effort.

I absolutely love the covers. At first I was a bit put off by them, but then I started to realize what she's doing. I love how it's completely turning into a different album. She really knows how to completely morph her work, who else could do this?? Who else has the creative control to do this?? And the covers!? How iconic!! No, I'm not one of the delusionals that thinks she's an "icon" already.. she's still got a way to go, but this should absolutely be a testiment to who and what GaGa is, and the fact she's on her way to owning that status. Some people are geniunely born to work in this industry, that is Lady GaGa. She is a true artist, one of the, if not the most, hardest work popstar in the mainstream. Everything she does has talent, thought and meaning behind it. There is no mindless pop with her. No more flash-in-the-pan b.s. or ANY question to her talent after the release of this project. I said it once months ago, and I'll say it again... GAGA TO RULE THE WORLD.

^ Everything you said pretty much hits the nail on the head. But don't repeat it outside this thread, or else you'll be assaulted with eye-roll emoticons and general backlash. I love what she's done with mainstream pop music; she is seriously a game-changer. Even within in past 6 months we've seen her image change massively -- more than most pop singers change in an entire career. At times she barely resembles the Just Dance/Poker Face girl. Since the beginning of this year, she has morphed from tan, platinum blonde glam rocker to pale, dark, almost grotesque monster. She's so drastically changing her image so soon into her career that I can't imagine where she will go next. Madonna and Cher are praised for changing their image every era or decade -- this girl is re-imagining her image every few months.
Right now this career looks like the beginning of a re-landscaping of the pop music scene, a Madonna-esque career that changes our idea of what a pop star is. Obviously it's too premature to proclaim that, which is why I'll keep it to this thread ;)

LoveGame acoustic? Can't see it happening. I want to hear GaGa do LG acoustic. I love this version www.youtube.com/watch?v=57K8jwTmXPU so I'm sure GaGa could do it even better,

Considering it's a double disc thing, I would say the progression won't necessarily go unnoticed. I'd say her efforts to create a memorable album are commendable.

^ Commendable indeed. It's very promising that she always makes every effort to give us something new and different, and even if it isn't the biggest success I know she will always try to change her product. Unlike many other top artists who have lazily resigned to remaking the same material over and over and selling it to their fans...

She should have left The Fame alone. It had plenty of tracks that could have been released as future singles.

does anyone have any idea where I can find a downloadable mp3 of her live rendition of Imagine? I have like 20 versions of that song and would like to add hers to my collection.

What are the names of any leaked/unreleased tracks available for Gaga? If nobody feels like listing the tracks, is there a site where all that info is written?

Whatever happened to letting the music speak for itself? Take, for example, an occurrence just under a half hour ago. Absent-minded and unwary, I walked into my bedroom only to find steaming pile of joy delivered to me on my hickory wood floor by an amusing but moronic chihuahua. Do I call it as it is and promptly dispose of it, or does it become a piece of art before my eyes?

If you just want to listen to the music that's fine, but I enjoy Lady Gaga as an artist.
