May 12/13 this one goes for adds according to FMQB.
Does this seem like they are really stretching this album? It seems they have been riding it for way too long. I actually charted this song at the beginning of last year. I like the song well enough but I'm not going to get that into it again just because its going to radio now. Anyone else agree that it would have been better to release some new material.
I actually think they got the order of singles azz backwards, this one should have been first, then My World and then All The Same and then after that come out with album two. All the success of All the Same may be lost on this band as they regroup for the second CD.

It's a better single than My World, but they both pale in comparison to All The Same.

It's a better single than My World, but they both pale in comparison to All The Same. agreed, which is why I think All The Same should never have "introduced" the album because they are never going to regain the lost momentum. I can see this song doing slightly more than My World but its too generic to really stand out as a top notch song and just cant get them back to where All the Same could have gotten them.

Well they've only had two singles and "My World" was moderately big and just now fell recurrent. Why shouldn't they roll out another one?

I understand the why and I'm all for it, especially if it means that they'll stick around and have some success to get a new album out. It just seems to be a VERY VERY long time between single releases. Even if My World just went recurrent, it just feels like forever. I still think they went backwards with the singles.
All that said, I like the song and want to see it do well, I was just more posing the question do you think they could have marketed the singles better? (different order, or even getting them out to radio faster) I dont remember many first albums where it was more than a year between the release of the first and third single and especially with the early success of the first single. Just an observation.

After checking out the album and have listened to it twice, I think this is one of the least memorable songs on the album. I would have rather have gone them gone with "Cancer," "Deliverance," or "Anywhere But Here." I expect this to do decently (maybe peak in the 20s) since both of their other singles did pretty well for a new band to hit the charts.

I just want to say that I love this song. I want to stroke it like a pretty pretty pet.

I just want to say that I love this song. I want to stroke it like a pretty pretty pet. That reminds me of the blind kid in Dumb and Dumber: "Pretty bird..." ...Wait, is that line from something else? It's been too long since I saw the movie.

it is from Dumb and Dumber when they tape the head of the bird on and give it to the blind kid

No, I knew that, I was just second-guessing myself if the boy actually said "Pretty bird..." in the movie, or if I'm thinking of something else entirely and incorrectly attributing that line to him.

gotcha....yeah it was the kid, sitting in his chair , stroking its head, although I always wondered how a blind kid would know it was a pretty bird, lol
