So I dont have official adds date for this but I was sent this long ass notice that they will have a new radio single from their upcoming album "All Sides" that will most likely be serviced to radio around mid June. They currently have two new songs up on their myspace, "This Town" and "What Is Mine". There's also some thing about getting those two songs in advance and the rest of the album early if you buy two tickets to a concert for the summer. Don't really have all the details and don't really care about that much as part as just getting some new tunes from these guys. I'm absolutely looking forward to this and excited about a little Of A Revolution for the summer months. www.myspace.com/ofarevolution

I REALLY hope this is not a Rolling Stones cover. I know OAR does some Stones covers during their live shows.
It'll probably be an original though. I doubt they'd lead their album off with a cover and as far as I know, they've never put a cover on any of their studio albums. Can't wait to hear it.

There has been no mention of it being a cover. Considering the title is a little generic it could be anything but I would bet the house(lol, i rent so who cares) that its not a cover. The songs on their myspace from the new album sound promising too.

Playing on XM Ethel right now.
I love it! Not quite what I was expecting, even after the last album. Has a very poppy sound to it. I think this will be huge on Hot AC, not sure about Alternative.

This reminds me of "Chasing Cars" a bit. I could see it being really big, especially with the right amount of promotion.

Yeah... I do see that comparison a little bit.
Problem is that Chasing Cars needed that TV promotion to help it break out. Otherwise it would have been a mid-level Hot AC hit and never crossed over to Pop.
If this gets promoted right, it's a Pop hit. If not, big Hot AC hit that doesn't cross over (like Maroon 5's Won't Go Home Without You).

I dunno... I felt it before their last album. "Love And Memories" sounded like a Pop smash to me. I feel like, if that didn't cross over, then what will? They need some luck, to be featured in a TV show or something. I don't think they'll cross over to Pop without a big push. Hot AC hit though, definitely.

Well it goes out to people who have purchased OAR concert tickets next Monday. Since they know it's going to be on P2P 2 seconds later, I would imagine it would be on iTunes next Tuesday or the week after that.
