The song is a folky/acoustic Brit rock track. Sitting at #30 on alt's 7 day chart today, with over 400 spins. Not bad, kind of what you expect from a band like this, just a fun bouncy kind of acoustic song. I dont think it will get much higher than it is now but it could be a Bravery type run where it'll catch on even more the longer that its around.

I never really gave The Kooks much of a chance in the past because of what I heard they sounded like, but I heard this song a few weeks ago on the radio here and didn't know who it was. As soon as the song ended and the DJ said who the band was, I thought to myself "Shit. I shouldn't have ignored these guys before. That was pretty good."

It can surprise you that a review of a group or song and actually hearing it can give you two totally different views. That's why I dont put much stock in reviews. I'm my own reviewer. It works best that way, lol.

I'm not wild about this. It's catchy but it just lacks something.

I agree that it lacks "something" , however, its still catchy enough to put on Sunday afternoon relaxing rotation, lol. It's one of those songs that you wont be throwing on to get in the mood to party or work out or whatever. Its very much a chilling out kind of song.

I like this song, but I definitely don't think this is on par with the singles from their debut album, like the fabulous "She Moves In Her Own Way".

Don't care for it. Surprised it's done what it has, frankly.
